Wicked whims anims not starting, other odd issues

I tried messing around with it a few times, deleting the old resource.cfg, moving wicked whims into its own folder under mods, taking it out and putting it straight into the mod folder, nothing seems to work.

I just updated the sims 4 today, just updated Wicked whims to the most recent version, but I keep getting an error message saying it is the old version. 

The sims will approach a piece of furniture and disappear, then reappear and disappear again inside the furniture, without actually starting the anim. 

I tried the after dark discord server, but to tell you the truth I am a moron and can't keep up with the chat. I can't follow the text because of how chaotic and overstimulating the UI is, and I can't get a grip on the UI in general. It is just awful to look at and attempt to concentrate on. 

 

The issues I was having with some of the combinations of fixing it were saves not loading at all. I now have it to where I can load a save but WW does not work.

I'm seeing instances of NisaK on the exception report, not sure if it's a culprit but you can test it by temporarily removing NisaK's Wicked Perversion mod out and see if that works. If it does, then maybe you need to download the latest version of that mod or just not use it for the time being until it's updated.

 

The other issue could be what TMZPH03N1XQC said and that you might have duplicates of WW. I use a program called Sims 4 Mod Manager that lets me find duplicates. In the program on the left hand side there are two options, Dup - Filename and Dup - Content, both try to find duplicates through different methods. Just click on the "Refresh" button at the top-right to load up all the possible duplicates. On the left hand side you can also click on ID Conflicts and see if that's another way to spot duplicates, but just note that NOT every conflict is a bad thing, it simply means that a file needs to overwrite another file in order to function. You'll have to be the judge of that unfortunately.

 

For dealing with last exception errors, you could also use the Last Exception Assistant and Better Exceptions.

 

As for your rant about Discord, I 100% totally agree. I hate Discord. I acknowledge its usefulness, but I loathe the chaotic mess that ends up flooding the boards and the UI is certainly not the most intuitive. I consider myself a millennial so I don't think I'm that old, but even then I'd rather prefer a good old forum or one-on-one instant messaging. Then again, maybe I just haven't used Discord long enough to get used to it, but that's my personal problem, it's hard to get used to it lol.
