Please note, this exception didn't occur in the mod. The mod is unlikely to be the source of the error.

I had the same error. There was an update today that seems to be affecting the mod.

Yes I am having the same issue and I have been trying to troubleshoot for hours. I deleted so many mods and restarted the game to see if that was the issue but nothing helped. When I click on WW my sims disappear and the orange text box in the upper right hand corner stays up on the screen and then I cannot even cancel my sims out of it. It has to be today's update. I guess we will have to wait for a new update. 😭

Any updates on the WW being fixed? I was experiencing the same issue and spent hours trouble shooting, even removed all mods except WW and then tried to the game to see if that was the issue and it turned out that it was. However, I can still play the game but just have to avoid any physical intamacy interactions or "make a move" action. I just altered some of the setting in WW to disallow any WW interactions that causes the game to throw the LE error.

 

But I was wondering if I went back to the old mod updated July 15, 2024, would I still have the same issues or has anyone even tried that?

Same here, I've tried everything and am still getting an exception error. I guess I'll wait until there's another version of ww other than from 9/19

This error has nothing to do with Wicked Whims - it states that right in the error message. Wicked Whims and Nisa's are updated and work just fine.

 

Delete all of your mods except WW. Delete cache. Start new game - don't mess with your main save. WW should work. If not, try changing to DX9 in your graphics settings. DX11 is set to be the default now and it doesn't play nice with a lot of mods. 

 

From Turbo:

• The "should_refresh_thumbnail" last exception error will appear if you didn't update WickedWhims or Nisa's Wicked Perversions. If you use a Occult Hybrid Stabilizer/Unlocker mod then you need to delete it (or update it when available).

I just removed all my animations and just use the core files. Mod is very broken.

Edit: Seemed i had yesterday's version. A new one just came out. Will see.
Edit2: No dice, still get "TypeError: apply_appearance_modifiers() got an unexpected keyword argument 'should_refresh_thumbnail'"
error.

[WW_mods]

Deleted EVERYTHING , game and all, reinstalled game + WW. In game the Purple Heart for WW was gone. Added a few mods with semi recent dates and it crashed again.

I'm not getting those errors, but I am unable to load lots. I have updated my mods, and found it was conflicting with brazenlotus's void critter pack. The only last exception I'm getting is

I put brazen's mod back in & removed WW and was able to load the lots.
