Lovely Rose Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 How to do it? i could never figure this out, my freind told me i had to do something with the uh SKYRIM.INI file have to add something to allow screenshots or one another? i TRIED that but it didnt work. (btw skimmed and didnt see another post like this, sry if there is) any ideas? what my friend sentme If F12 does not work for you, and the game does not respond to a "PrintScreen" command, you will need to edit the Skyrim.ini file:Save your game and quit Skyrim. Find Skyrim.ini (Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini or Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim). Add the line bAllowscreenshot=1 under the line that identifies your graphics card in the Display section (or if it exists and is set to 0, change it to 1). Save this file. Re-start Skyrim and press F12 to take screenshots. BUT it still doesnt work for me??
Thulas Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Dou you use the steam overlay (aka ingame community)? If yes, simply press F12, then you'll get a screenshot. You them can see and manage your screenshot in stream's screenshot manager. Easy to use and handy.

Lovely Rose Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 Well i have photoshop cs6, and the ctrl c than V deosnt work at all, shows me screenshot of my background on my comp? lol not of skyrim. i was thinking of using FRAPS. but its not that big of a deal really.

But i usually take screenshots of stuff im using (mod wize) to show off to people and promote it. USED to before i got banned on nexus (tehe i figurd out away around the banned) BUT still, lol
