CTD on Crowning Isle (after arriving)

After I arrive at Crowning Isle, if I walk more than a few paces forward the game CTDs. It seems to be based on me seeing something - if I turn up my view distance (it always defaults to low) I crash immediately, and if I turn to the left and walk it won't crash until I turn around and try to go forward from the dock again.

 

I use Animated Window Lighting and Better Cities, but I've tried deactivating them and it hasn't helped. I'm not sure what to try next (I've tried a Search this time).

I have OBSE, Pluggy etc and other aspects of Lovers are working for me. I just get a crash on Crowning Isle.

I did not include the Lovers mods in the Bashed Patch.

That certainly would cause problems!

I think I was wrong about it being related to seeing something, it's just being on the island for more than a few seconds.

Someone in another thread said CrowningIsle had issues with the latest version of the Lovers esp... is there somewhere I can obtain an earlier version?

Did you make a clean save (disable all lovers plugins, start game, load save, hit escape and make a new save, then exit oblivion) and then enable your lovers mods and load the clean save. Many changes won't take place unless you do.

Edit: Found the problem. When CrowningIsle calls for "Beautiful people 2ch-Ed.esm" it must be the ++ version, not the base version.

Actually you have to install the base version 1.4 and then MBP++ v94 (minimum) on top of it.

I am experiencing the same problem, CTD exactly like in AnomolousRabbit's case. But, BP, MBP, MBP++ already installed, I tried latest ver of MBP++(0.98) with no result, game still crashes. Also I tried to switch on/off Bashed patch.esp, rebuilt it, and... Here I am:)

UPD: I'm think that x117race may be one of reasons. There is also some influence on main quest - if it's not started(a new beginning mode - anb.esp) game crashes then loading on island, tried without anb.esp, with a new game - crash after arrival then dog come close, also if trying to enter isle chapel. Still left to do: new game without x117race.esm & x117race.esp(it's sad - they are required for some mods)... sights... tutorial is truly boring.

 

UPD2: One more new game without x117race and anb. no changes, still crushing

 

UPD3: Problem solved by switch of LoversCrowningIsle.esp Till the best times)

 

UPD4 Problem solved: You know, this mod is interesting for me so I just decided to look at it via tescs, and "or no!!" there was BIG problem. About 50 NPC have dummy race for me (but I installed all requirements listed in readme...). So I pick races for all these troublesome npc and mod works without crash now, only minor problems still exists in scripts(as tescs says). Also there is no troubles with main quest now(works fine with anb). Only 1 question disturbing me: What race mods author have used????????????
