EternalDamned Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I am about to re-start a project I had just "finished". Because I'm nuts and apparently enjoy the insanity. My goal is to make-over every single female in Skyrim with new make-up's, hair, no dirt, custom beauty marks rather than warpaint etc. There will be no elderrace women, and no female children when I am done(replacing them with slightly shorter women with child voice so it hopefully doesn't screw up anything. Now as I said, I had basically finished this once already for the vanilla Skyrim women, but not happy with the results. The faces turned out good, but the outfits I was limited too were less than desirable. So my questions are: 1)How I should format the multiple mods I now realize this will require. IE: 1 Mod (containing all eyes, brows, hairs besides Apachii, custom color palettes, clothing, armor etc. Or should I break it up into 2 mods? One for char gen items and one for all apparel items? 2)Does anyone know an easier way of importing items into 1 mod from another, than using the duplicate/rename/edit method of doing it. 3)How can I avoid the "stretchmark" look I get on breasts(I am using UNPB Redux with TBBP and SG Renewal wet skin) with some of the wonderful armor's made by people on this and other sites. (I typically vary my women between weights of 30 to 80) Or should I just test each clothing/armor first and not use any that lead to the stretchmark look? This is for my own personal use, and not something I ever intend to upload anywhere as I could never hope to even properly thank let alone get permission from all the original clothing/hair/eye mod authors(especially considering a lot of the armor/clothing comes from sites I can't even read the language). But if I don't do something, my load order would easily be 150+ mods. Any help/tips/idea's etc greatly appreciated.
Arizona_Steve Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 People have done it before. I know there's one out there called Supermodel Skyrim that adds apachii hair to everyone and removes dirt/scars/elderly. No reason not to upload. As long as your mod is dependent on any other mods and doesn't include them as part of your download, you should be good,
EternalDamned Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 That's entirely the reason why I wont upload hehe. I'm already including outfits from about 2 dozen separate armor/clothing mods like Aradia's lace dress etc, so far just into my resources esp, then I will add hair, eyes, and anything else I need to that file, make it an esm so when I get to work on modding all the NPC's I don't need to mess with 100 seperate esp's and worry about massive load order. I could thank some of them, and maybe even get permission to re-upload, but the ones where everything on the page is in Japanese...I couldn't even begin to list the mods my mod would be dependent on! I'm going frankly insane and including special unique outfits for many of the named female NPC's which for my own clarity means renaming things so I can identify which outfit I planned to cobble together from separate pieces from different sources. Then there are the outfits I find that work and look great with one particular weight, but cause a neck gap or crash the CK if I try them on someone with a different weight. With any luck, I'm hoping to have the outfits figured out in another day, then I can start with the other things to import.
