How to disable dialogue when damaging follower?

Recommended Posts

I've disabled friendly damage, and still the follower keeps repeating the dialogue "Can I talk to you for a minute? I'm not important enough to not take damage when you hit me by mistake, you know."

I'm guessing it's from some kind of Loverslab/adult mod? since the dialogue doesn't use a voice actor.

Is there any way to stop that message from happening? Despite having disabled friendly damage, and the follower is clearly not taking friendly damage, it still happens.

If what you are quoting is correct, that follower is complaining that they are NOT taking damage when they feel they ought to be.
Which is kinda odd, like something has turned your follower into a masochist.
Anyway, no idea what mod generates this, I assume this line comes from any follower and not just a custom one.

Here is how to search for dialogue, you'll need SSEEdit

Once you know what mod is producing this line you can check the MCM to see if it can be disabled there.

Here's the file, had no idea you could do this, really neat

but yeah, seems like it's from Deviously Enslaved. And yeah, although haven't tried with other followers/NPC's, Lydia is the one saying this.

There's a Follower dialogue option and "remembers if you shot them" option, and lots of other cool things that fixes some frustrations. I'm gonna experiment a few minutes and see if this fixes it.

EDIT: Fixed the problem, thank gosh....

Thank you so much for the help!
