Does Amorous Adventures need to be converted to Sexlab P+ or will it work without an issue?

I love Amorous Adventures and think it is one of the greatest Sexlab mods ever created. I recently started dabbling in modlists and I'm loving N.Y.A.'s NSFW modlist. It uses Sexlab P+, which indicates that it should be backwards compatible with Sexlab mods:

So, I thought using Amorous Adventures shouldn't be a problem. However, my game is freezing following any Amorous Adventures sex scene, so I am thinking that either I set something up wrong or that Amorous Adventures has issues that keep it from being compatible with Sexlab P+.

 

If it is the latter, how difficult would it be to manually convert over the old Sexlab calls into Sexlab P+? I feel that if it is as simple as replacing parts of the script to use the Sexlab P+ API calls instead of the old Sexlab calls, that it could be something even I could do. However, I wanted to ask people who are far more knowledgeable about it than me first.
