jonni28 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Hey everyone, I have two questions: 1. Can someone tell me how do i get rid of this ugly neck texture of the first picture? 2.. I know this ugly neckline (second picture) is caused by the face texture and body textrure not fitting together that good. Are there good looking high res body and face textures that avoid that? I´m using: CBBE 8k skin texture by TyperTM (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28809) Valkyre Female Face (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3841) Rusty Face Fix (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31028) High res DLC black Face Fix (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21907) Thanks for any advice!
Erebea Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 There aren't exactly a ton of 8K body textures, if that is what you mean by high resolution. You could try FSM Body Textures Extreme - Clean - Full - I haven't tried it though, as my PC cannot handle 8K textures. Your only other option would be to pick a lower resolution texture.
jonni28 Posted June 24, 2024 Author Posted June 24, 2024 (edited) Thanks for the help. I will try it out tomorrow, ran out of time for today. 8k is not necessary. I just want to get rid of these ugly transitions =). Edited June 24, 2024 by jonni28

South8028 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 Even 8k or 128k 🙂 will not remove the seams. Resolution does not affect normals and topology. Quite the opposite. The higher the resolution, the more the seams will be highlighted. What did you want? The head of a low poly vanilla body is attached to a custom cbbe or fg body. The body has a different topology. The resolution of the head and body textures is different (otherwise the brown face error). The vertices are aligned 1, 2 polygons from the neck, the slightest shift in lighting and the seams come out.The seam can only be masked by matching textures and light/shadow. ReShade + filters + ini graphic settings + time of day/default lighting + distance from camera.
