Will the new Expansion 'Lovestruck' break WW?

As is my understanding, any mod that messes around with TRAITS at all, effs up something which prevents CAS from loading properly. While I don't pretend to have a clue what all that data in the LE file means, try searching one for the word "trait", it finds a lot of results. I can't personally attest to it since I run one but not the other, but the word is that both Wicked and Wonderful produce the same error(s), at least the CAS crashing one.

 

I pulled every other mod out except WW, and was able to load pre-patch saves and play the game with WW, but the moment I tried to load CAS, the game locked up tight and had to be process ended from Task Manager. I did not test every single WW function because there are just too many, but that one alone is a deal-breaker.

 

There's nothing for it but to uninstall and wait for Turbodriver to fix it, I guess... I hope it's not too long, the game's just no fun without WW.

Turbo has stated that they would be away when the patch drops and it would be a "couple days" until they are back to work on a fix.

Thank you for this. Just knowing that they are aware of the problem and intend to fix it, is really a big deal. Now, a couple days, a couple weeks, or even months, to me is the same. I know it will be fixed eventually, it was only the 'not knowing' that was frustrating me.

I do have a few custom traits, but my game runs reasonably well. It might not be all traits that stops CAS from opening. Will investigate further.

WW is working for me but Perversions is generating an endless string of exceptions. I don't actually use it that much, and won't need it for my current plot so I'm retiring it from the mods for the moment.

While we wait for WW to be patched, I wish it were possible to pluck out certain functions without which I find immersion-breaking...

 

I scrounged up working default overlay nude mods, and the old mosaic remover from Moxiemason still works (although the fact that it has "toddler update" in the name is still a little creepifying)  Now if I could only find a stand-alone mod that does nothing except make sims drop trou when using the throne, I could at least play the game without (/headdesk).

The issue I'm having is loading screen getting stuck. I removed WW, Nisa's WP and basemental and the issue is gone. I did have the repeated Nisa error and dl the latest version of it from Nisa's website now I'm not getting the errors. Tried loading everything back ww/ extra ww animations from know creators and Nisa's wp played through a few loading screens then it happened again! Game froze in loading screen while heading to a new area for a date (if that matters).  Any clues as to what this might be or solutions?
