Oblivion NPC combat AI problem

When enemies see me or another hostile persons, they are just standing and using ranged spells and bows if they can. But when i am enough close - they attack. Looks like its happening in cells with a lot of NPC (10+). The problem appeared after installing Francescos Leveled Creatures Items Mod v5, i think.

Try moving LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp, LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp after the bashed patch. In the bashed patch there's a patch under Tweak Settings to check how many enemies max the computer can run at once or something. I think MMM mods that to a higher number, but its worth checking into.

Sroro is exactly correct, inside the bashed patch you can tweak the settings to allow more npc's to function. You can also download mods at the nexus that do the same thing but personally I would use the bashed patch to save an esp slot :)

 

Remember however that oblivion is a CPU driven game so upping this number too high can make your game slow to a crawl.
