Unified Interracial Takeover

 

Hello friends,

 

Since the other 2 mods seem to be no longer in development and you can't have both active I wanted to have a mod that combines the two mods.

But I have no experience with the script language of CK3 nor do I want to learn it. I do however can find someone that can do this and pay him. And thats what I did.

 

So here is another Interracial Takeover mod that aims to combine the two already existing ones while also providing another progression path besides the "mindless BBC Slut" which lets you stay in control. We called it "exalted QoS"

 

Please test it and if you find bugs please post them (if possible with screenshot) and/or steps on how to recreate it. If you have ideas on how to expand this mod please also let me know.

Updates might be slow since I would have to pay for those too.

It seems to work just fine, although sometimes the girls don't progress past QoS, thus not becoming mindless and converting.

I've tested the mod, it doesn't seems to work. I can trigger the host event from decision tab and get black courtier but that's about it. I've waited at least 10 years in game time and there isn't any event from the mod pop up. What are the requirement for the mod? I tried it with the latest carnalitas version and still the same.

Only Carnalitas and Carnalitas Dei are required, I think. It has the same requirements as the 2nd edition mod.

 

Can you give details? Are you playing a female or male character. What other mods do you have active that might interfere? Male playthrough has no events currently and is using a random chance to trigger a bbc character to interact with a female in court. Thats how the previous mods did it as well but we raised the chance a bit.

I think there is something wrong with carnalitas and the latest version of the game. I'm playing as a female ruler and with carnalitas on, her portrait doubled and i can see text coming out of the character window. I haven't try playing as a male character so no idea if that mod affect based on gender. I tried with version 1.1.2, 1.2.1, 1.6.1 and latest and having the same issue with carnalitas mod on. I tried it with only your mod on and no event ever showing up, so im assuming carnalitas is a hard requirement.. but when i did foreign hosting event on decision tab, it called the event normally and its working.. so carnalitas might not required? I also see the BBC icon and trait fine. In any rate, do you know which version of the game, carnalitas, carnalitas dei will work with your mod? thanks! I attached the screenshot to show you what i'm talking about

Well I used 2.0 most of the time because when I try to use 2.3 or 2.6 it breaks the animations from CBO for some reason and I don't want to deal with that. But the events and interactions worked normal for me in all versions. I'll ask the dev.

I see, i'm using version 2.6 carnalitas. I guess they haven't update it yet for the latest version of the game. They don't offer version 2.0 unfortunately.

I have added Carnalitas 2.0 to the topic. Please try it. As far as I know it should work with newer versions as well

I've tested it with the file your provided and still the same, maybe something wrong with my game files. I'll reinstall my game later once i'm back home. Thanks!

 

Edit:

ok, so I reinstalled my game and with new playset i added only carnalitas 2.0(the file you provided) and it's still making the same issue. I'm not sure what could be the problem. Vanilla game working normally. Maybe I'm missing dlcs? i don't have all dlcs.. or paradox just hates me lols. In any rate, thank you for your help!

I do not understand how you could be having the issues you're having at all.... do you have fashion of the abbasid court? And also be sure to play on the latest version of CK3

yes to both, it was a clean install. I dunno honestly, vanilla working fine, it just messing up with carnalitas mod on.

Bruh, wait why are you guys on carnalitas 2.0... use 2.6.... it's in the mods section just download that version and historical slavery doctrine along with it, if it still doesnt work you have some sort of weird issue. You may need better barbershop and Character body overhaul as well? try that. Also make sure the dlc you have is installed too.

I don't know whats the issue. I use Carnalitas 2.0 because that works with my CBO sex animations. 2.3 and 2.6 break them and I did not want to deal with that yet. Afaik the Dev said that this mod has low dependency on Carnalitas anyway so in theory it should work with most versions.

Not working for me, each time i host a refugee nothing happens and the decisions is instantly available again. Also description is empty.

Carnalitas migrated to a new sex code sometime in 2.2 or 2.4. 2.6 is on the new version of sex code so of course it won't work with 2.0. Not sure how useful this mod is then when most other mods are now using the new code in 2.6

 

If your cbo animations  isn't working with 2.6 something is wrong with your cbo and animation install. Delete all your cbo files and use the new ones provided on LL. Csirke has done an amazing job with the cho unofficial and everything is packed into big mega files so it isn't even hard to install.
