sims 4 not loading on Mac with latest wicked whims v180a

when I try to start sims 4 with wicked whims v180a included in the mods, the game crashes with a message saying "Unable to start: cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. if you have mods installed please remove them and try again. if not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin." its weird because im using the EA App and if I remove wicked whims from my mods folder, the game loads as normal.

Do you have other mods installed?
If you do, can you test with only WickedWhims?
