SoulMask Mods

16 GB ram is a real pain when working with Unreal Engine. I think I'll have to upgrade my computer ram to 32 GB before I can continue. :'(

Yeah, I'm at 16GB too, so painful... And even when you close this shit your ram doesn't even restore at full so sometimes you have to reboot the computer

I run into problem when try to make a mod. When I click on "Package UCC" then build mod. It take me forever to make a mod. (I wait like 30+ mins then I have to cancel at the end.)

I found out that Dev kit start to run my soulmask game on steam and stuck there. (Probably I have not enough memory to run both dev kit and soulmask game in the same time)

Also found out a mod I made. It is in my steam workshop (hidden file). I have to subscribe my own mod and activate it in soulmask game main menu (Mod).

The mod is not .pak file. (it is in Soulmask\WS\Mods directory like other steam mod I download (not in Soulmask\WS\Content\Paks like other mods I load outside steam)

How do I make a pak file?

 

@Hash24 How well you do on your new Linen cloth?

Yeah it's taking time because the devkit compile every game shader, the thing I do is only importing in the devkit to have the same unreal settings as the game on the file I change, then I import into unreal engine 4.27 and cook the content. And I take the file and do a .pak file to share with people. Search for unrealpak.exe method on google, some people share .bat files code and you only have to drag and drop your file on the .bat file in the unrealpak.exe folder.

Well, I did a little break before doing the texture of the bottom because I had to download a crack for substance painter. I resized some part of the basic cloth and I got some artifacts because the UV map changed. I took some time to improve the body too, I inflated a bit the nipples and reworked the skinny vagina and all faces

Are you sure you are a beginner to all these? Where do you learn all these from?

so the process gonna be start with

Either way is fine for me because some faces look bad. It's fine to change the ugly one.

Yeap total beginner, I just did some research on google. And I don't know for the process, I guess you can. But sometimes you have to link your imported asset to another asset in the game, so either you create them in your own project with the same path and link or you import in the devkit with already all needed assets.

Don't know yet for faces, creating a morph is easy but you have to setup some blueprints and I understand shit about

For hairs I didn't find anything outside of the hairs files, I don't know which blueprint tell which hair is on the character, but yeah I wanted some more hairs too...

I think I get of what I ask now. It probably you will need something like blueprint and animations to migrate with mesh you make change.

Already working on the next one, I want to keep a bit of this leather style but don't know what to do with so for now I removed some parts...
And well I have to take care of not moving too much the mesh or wait painting doesn't apply anymore at right bone, I moved the mesh for the linen chest and during some animation you can see the mesh not moving right, so I have to fix that if I can too


Edit : And I was thinking I'm going to do clothing while I progress into the game, because I want to play too and see all those beautiful titties :D
So maybe it's gonna slow down until I progress, but I restarted a fresh game and I'm at leather currently, I plan to go for flint tribe soon to try looting the boss outfit :)

That looks sooo amazing man!!

I'm so short of starting a new game myself :D  But i don't want to miss a single piece of your improvements so i think i have to wait for a bit longer. But as i've reached the end of content in this game, just need a f#$+ing female horned eagle, i think i can wait the time you need to finish all your ideas 🙂 

 

By the way... can anybody of you tell me how the f...k you got the boss-dress of the flinttribe?? I've visited the camp and killed her like 30 times and didn't get it... just the basic flinttribe costume in the bosschest like 8 times or so?!?!?!

@Hash24 Please considering separating each armor type to a different mod file. Also separate body mod from armor mod.

Leather armor look nice.

If you need ideas on cloth or armor style. I would suggest to look at skyrim mods.

I got flint boss dress by recruiting her. (Use stream workshop mod called "recruiting boss")

I plan to start a new game too. I haven't played that far any way. Plan to get a new computer next week. Then I can start all fresh.

Yeah I think you have to be a bit lucky to loot the boss outfit... I just loaded his file in blender the last time and the amount of details is really huge so not sure if my computer can handle this on more than one female at a time xD

haha yeah with blender you have the opportunity to just load it in :D

maybe i'm just really really unlucky...

 

well, one with the dress and the rest naked sounds good to me :D:D

Got the idea to do something like this for some clothes, bulge for various body parts but not sure how to handle it. First I have to create each morph for every body weight and faces what is painful but I can handle, but the hardest is doing a blueprint checking the active morphs (faces, skinny or not) and applying the right morph. If someone know how to do this kind of blueprint could be amazing

You can cheat and get the outfit too, don't remember what to type in the admin panel but you can open it by pressing ² key and type : gm key 123456

No idea about blueprint. Devkit is so confusing. Everything in Chinese make it very hard to find thing. Couple devkit tutorials, Both use blueprints to set stuff.  I can't even create a minor change armor mod. Probably need blueprint too to tell the new have replaced the old?  This gives me headache too.

Bulge? Can't  change model right? otherwise model will not look well with no bulge armor. Man, what you try to do is too hard.

Took me some day to figure out how to replace files, yeah this is not that easy but when you know how to do it it's kinda quick...

Well, in my idea I would make morph in the main skeleton mesh file and when a cloth is worn it's using this morph to create the bulge effect, like this if you don't worn the cloth you don't have any bulge

Btw the new release is uploaded, I did two mods, one with female body and removing the nude clothing, and one adding the skimpy clothing

Skindentation you mean? Usually sculpt mode with inverse draw. The mesh may need to be subdivided though to look good

Yeah I know how to sculpt, the main issue is unreal blueprint and how to apply the morph when wearing the clothing
