Lucy in the Sky
I like to create duplicate versions of certain armors, so I can edit parts of it while still keeping the original armor untouched in the game. The thing is... I can't manage to make the armors respect body weight, they always stay frozen at weight 0, regardless of the weight of my character. To create my "custom version" of said armor, I simply: 1) start CK 2) Open skyrim.esm + ***whatever armor mod I'm working with***.esp (For example, Neo's DevilMaid set, which respects Body Weight) 3) Duplicate the armor 4) In "models" I change the .nif file in biped model (which in the original armor is always the body weight 0 version.) I can't find anywhere where the CK links the body weight 1 version. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance Link to comment
b3lisario
Assign one of the files, the game automagically finds the other size. There is a problem though. Both files ( _0 and _1 ) must exist before you create or edit the armor addon or maybe the CK will not use the missing file even if you create it later. Try to assign the _1 file instead of the _0, or redo again the armor addon. Link to comment
Lucy in the Sky
Oooooh! So that's what I did wrong! I created the _1 only after I saved my .esp. Thanks, I'll delete it and start over. Link to comment
