I'm sure there are at least a few people who are wondering "Why isn't Incog fixing my problems for me anymore? Is he stupid?"

The answer as to why I'm not is obvious to anyone with a working brain, I don't want to waste my time answer the same fucking questions again and again on repeat, it's for that exact reason that I wrote the WuWa FAQ.

 

Obviously the FAQ was pretty out of date, written in 3.4 and "patched" in 3.5 when the world was on fire, but now I've finally bothered to do a rewrite of it that should be a little more comprehensive, so.

 

Once again, reintroducing the WuWa FAQ.

If you're about to post "My mod is broken" then consider looking at this first.

 

This isn't going to solve every problem for everyone, I wish I had both the knowledge and writing ability to do that but unfortunately I haven't run into every single possible bug and thus don't have all the answers. This should hopefully cover enough of the basic issues for people with elementary school levels of reading comprehension. (I know, high bar to pass for gacha players.)

Hi. I'd appreciatte any help you can provide:

All my mods have texture errors like this.

 

 

The thing is, the mod textures display correctly in the character menu. 

 

I followed the @IncogACC FaQ Guide: Increased Mesh LOD Base POV, first in increments of 5, then of hundreds. No changes.

I have the “LOD Bias” set to the maximum; I tried lowering it and then raising it again, but there was no change.

I followed Woju video since I remember seeing that he showed this exact problem (00:15 - 00:55 and 01:50 - 02:50):

 

But there is no change neither.

 

I have RabbitFX up tu date.

 

What baffles me is that this error suddenly appeared while I was playing yesterday. There wasn't any update; I didn't modify any files or the game settings; I didn't delete anything or make any changes to the XXMI or Wuthering Waves folders. I was playing, and suddenly the textures became a mess.

 

If you need any files or screenshots to diagnose the problem, please let me know.

 

Added: I also used Moonholder's mod fixer tool; I had my doubts about it, since there hadn't been any updates that could have corrupted the mods, and sure enough, it didn't work.

I re-downloaded some mods to apply the stable textures to a new mod, just in case the INI files had been corrupted, but apparently that wasn't the case, since that didn't work either.

I already did that; those lines are mentioned in Woju's video.
Although it's already fixed: I just replaced the Engine.ini file with an older version I had. Luckily, I usually back up almost everything. I still don't know why; it seems like WWMI added a bunch of lines to Engine.ini, though I don't know when, since, as I said, it started happening while I was playing.

Here are the two files; maybe someone knows which line(s) is/are responsible for this.

It’s literally a derivative mod based on KanouSakura’s work, yet they’re being so stingy that they only share it within their own little circle. What a blatant double standard.

Does anybody know how to fix this for Lucilla?

Her mods seems to work fine on map but it only happens when she does her idle animations and when I go into character menu. (I'm not able to view her in character menu at all, just shows lines.)
