what's insane is that this website flipped its stance on mod policy. It used to encourage sharing paywalled mods, because it's illegal to charge money for mods, and creators have no copyright claim or legal avenue for revenge. There used to be a site, drownedmods, but I think they've - well, drowned. Either that or they're inactive asf comparatively. I wish we got new leadership Oh well.

It works great but  earlier i forgot to mention about her weapon which glows whenever she attacks  or whenever inspect it through characters tab but it doesn't glow when it stays on her back for a while after attacking

I know I'm asking a lot but thanks in advance if you do it

I think the creator didn't add a hash or line for idle weapon on her back (maybe that's why it doesn't glow when it's on her back

The sword is Sheathed, that's why it's not glowing. What you're really asking for is to have the Sheath glow, which is simply adding more texture files for the sheath, or it's in the sword texture(rabbitFx texture) then edit that one instead.

I managed to receive the mod. Some people were kind enough to dm it to me while one person directly posted it here before his post got deleted. From my understanding, some paid mods which have been licensed can’t be shared here due the threats from mod owners, which would put the site at risk of legal backlash. This can't be true. They can't license something they don't own, there's no legal risks for posting paywalled mods. The only rule we break is the site's antagonistic flip-floppy policy.

Rant Alert: 100% agree. It's crazy to me people try to debate about "legal" issues with modding when the act of modding itself is more of a legal issue than sharing ANY "paid" mods, and when sites protect "paid" mods they only justify the fact that the whole modding scene is immoral, it's such a weak self sabotaging stance for sites to draw a line on. Don't get me wrong I have 0 issue with modders asking for dono's, money, tips and/or even having patreons / what have yous to help support them. BUT locking mods away behind a paywall is such a grifter immoral move, Imagine if you modded mickey mouse then resold it, you think Disney wouldn't rain hell on earth on you? We already see this with Nintendo for like the past 20 years.

Just irks me seeing this come up every day in modding spaces with people defending "paid" mods which is literally the cancer of the modding scene and goes completely against why modding exists to begin with. By allowing and paying for these obvious exploitive scams and not sharing things to protect these grifters it only encourages more people to do the same.

Like he said basically. Also the original mod checked if the sheath is in place, then the blade will not glow to avoid things being weird, and that was intended. You need to create new glow texture file for the sheath glow, not a few lines of code could work.  What you need is pretty much someone create a mini-mod to do that.

maybe you are  right in your view,but if no  one support the modder,they won't keep creating  more ,even some bad guys will sell them to the new guys in mod playing,then you will find that  the authors offer the  effort and can't get anything,the bad scalpers win much,then the mod community will collapse

I tried searching for it, went through hundreds of pages on arca.live and came across posts made back in October 2024 of users asking for the same thing

So if it ever did exist it was probably uploaded in a now unavailable modpack on arca.live or it was never shared publicly to begin with.

Requests for this mod have been floating around this thread for a while and nothing has ever come up unfortunately.
