yuukino9 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 to make mods work again like before add -SkipSplash -EngineIni=Engine.ini to xxmi put this engine ini in Wuthering Waves\Wuthering Waves Game\Client\Binaries\Win64 tweak it as u like then make sure to add it as read only Engine.rar 3

I played like half an hour and all the mods worked like before. But it seems to me this method requires to have a beefy PC, because I experienced some stuttering while killing a bunch of mobs. This is yet another bypass to get around Kuro's various locks but still uses the same fundamental method of ini tweaks to force consistent LODs, so it's still potentially breakable in a future patch if Kuro continues to lock things down more and more, but I'm gonna have hope that this will stick for longer than 3.3 at least. Everything I said about fixes and timelines were under the assumption that forced LODs were off the table for good, so this is absolutely huge and is definitely the preferable method. Follow Yuukino's steps 2 posts above this one to get it working The VRAM overflow is concerning — maybe more tweaking on the streaming commands could help. I'd still hope we succesfully brute-force all the LOD hashes for a more permanent solution since it'd be more resilient to future lockdowns while improving performance with mods, but I get that's a monumental task to do for free.

Character screens keeps loading forever, all the UI and texts are there but characters never show up. 2. The Character info's animation also never loads & freezes the game I tried repairing game files & deleting Shader Cache folder, still the same problem. The characters load just fine in non-mod game.
