Halstrom
Being that I'm useless with NifSkope or Blender, I have a simple request for a mesh. I'm playing around with an idea for a mod where I want to be able to equip an actor with a force field sphere just slightly larger than an actors height in diameter, maybe ovaloid, or maybe a half sphere covering, so just looking for a transparent ball with a basic magic/electricity type texture I can recolor in Paint.Net for different shields. If anyone knows where to get some or can knock something basic & quick up, it would be greatly appreciated. I can poke around with it and worry about something better when I get things working. I can do all the GECK end ok of course, just need a nif file. Link to comment
Nichoice
I assume you are referring to this which I know you haven't forgotten => http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgdWlWwxmRk Some make this NAOW! And thanks for taking the time to look into this! Also timing seems to play a huge part of the shield in the video so as to make not make it overpowered. I hope you will be implementing that so its not so much a god item Link to comment
Halstrom
Ah, I had seen something similar but thought it was for another game, that's what I'm looking for , I'll just track that down and have a look at it Link to comment
Nichoice
Yea I posted it a few weeks back on the request thread. I have tried to track down the mesh as well, but the mod author never released his mod. Nor could I find the meshes and textures he used. Link to comment
ToxicKetchup
I know this thread's a little old, but assuming the OP comes back to this, I know that the Fallout 3 Heroes mod has a few force-field-type effects. You could probably ask for permission from the mod author to use his stuff. Link to comment
