Bluegunk Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 (edited) https://postimg.cc/LnyqD8Pq [I have put a post on the preset author's Nexus page to see if s/he can help.] But if anyone knows how to remove the faint mesh membrane in the eyelashes, I'd be grateful to learn how to do it. The eye came from The Eyes of Beauty (eyeinfinity.dds). I checked the DDS but I can't improve the Alpha in any way. I have also tried different eye models from different eye mods on the preset, but they are all the same. Which leads me to think I can only cure this through the preset's NIF. I did fiddle with a few ENB reflection and SSS settings, to no avail. Thanks for any ideas! Edited April 16, 2024 by Bluegunk
Zasz Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Im not sure if I have those eye lashes but the default eye lashes (under skin details) I have cant deal with rings and bracelets. They cause a similar effect. But when I switch to the eyelashes under piercings/glasses I dont have that issue but I have to add those to every outfit. 1
Bluegunk Posted April 16, 2024 Author Posted April 16, 2024 Thank you. That's curious. I am running a multiple ring wearing mod. Hmm. Thanks - I'll look into that!
Bluegunk Posted April 16, 2024 Author Posted April 16, 2024 (edited) OK, I have solved the issue. I'm using Ray Tracing and it is the Z-Thickness setting that is causing the issue. Two answers: 1. Reduce the setting to zero pretty much removes it. 2. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71524 this totally cures the problem and leaves you to have the Z thickness where you want it. Thanks @Zasz for your input! I'll park this here in case others have the problem. Edited April 16, 2024 by Bluegunk
