Pyro No Moodlet

One of the things I hate about Sims 4 is its predictability stupid things. A brand new Sim making supper for the first time seems to almost always cause a fire 75% of the time. And then either you get the Fear of Fire fear which for me, I cannot ever seem to remove no matter how many fires I put out, so I just remove the fear off the Sim and its fine. However, this stupid fucking Moodlet never seems to go away. I can remove the moodlet using mods, but the moment they go near that spot, usually kitchen, it returns.

How long does this stupid thing last? its like day 2 or 3 and its still there. I shift clicked on the Sim in cheat mode and tried "Remove Recent Fire Buff" but that did nothing. Is there a way to remove ite entirely from the Sims code?

This is rare for me, I think your sims is cursed love.

Heh, maybe, but I swear every new Sim I make there is a huge chance of them starting a fire with cooking. Its also why I cannot have a Grill on a Apartment lot because any Sim staying there that goes to use it, usually starts a fire.

Starting a fire til they get lvl 2 cooking, then its rare. But yeah, making anything that requires the stove is not a good thing to do.

So maybe I fixed my own issue, so I went into buy mode and sold off the item that caused the fire, the stove, and bought a new one. So far no Tense debuffs in the kitchen.

Rebumping my old topic, STILL running into this issue. New sims with Cooking skill below 2 have a 75% chance of causing a fire when cooking anything that requires the stove. The other thing is, any time a Sim causes a fire, I always get this stupid assed debuff Pyro No, and IT NEVER GOES AWAY. Move a Sim anywhere near where the fire happened and poof, +2 Tense debuff. This Spellcaster failed to fix the broken bathtub behind her and lit it on fire. Not even in the same room as it and has the debuff already.

Does anyone know how long it lasts, or ways to remove it? I can clear the Sims buffs via MCCC and I know its tied to the Milestone of caused a fire, but my fucking god this debuff is so damn stupid.

EDIT: Correction, its the Fireplace that is causing the debuff at this moment, something that didn't even cause the issue in the first place. I looked on online, there is like 1 post from a year ago asking about it, someone said the Moodlet Solver potion from the aspiration store can fix it. It doesn't.

OMFG THANK YOU! I was getting pissed off with this stupid ass moodlet too when my sim set himself on fire trying to cook, till you said it was because of the fire place causing the moodlet! Instantly solved my issue when i put the fireplace out. Thank fuck for this glorious post!

Yeah, that Moodlet is annoying AF. Sims will get tense when near the spot they caused the fire. I did notice that after a few days the spot will no longer cause fires. I will never let a Sim with less than 2 cooking skill use a stove. However.... because EA hates us, the new Luck option, if a Sim has bad luck, its nearly a 100% chance of causing a fire ONCE AGAIN, regardless of their cooking skill.... this drives me insane. I shut off Luck even tho I wanted to play it. I often times have 1 skilled cook in the house, so they often do the cooking, but Bad luck pretty much says, either Order Takeout, or enjoy a singed Sim because they will cause a fire. its bullshit :(
