Fpe marriage problem

When I try to any of the marriage objects on dogmeat it does not do anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I am pretty sure, it should work, (but I need to do an overhaul of the entire mod (I am slowly getting back into the game (I recently redid my load order))

 

so what is the romance level with dogmeat?

and which item? (because I think the ring won't work but the chain should work) *but there might be a slot issue (arms for humans, neck for dogs)

I use the chain of marriage or the engagement ring. I assume the romance level is high sense I set the point requirement to the minimum.

I will give it a try on my game (I haven't tested it in ages so it may take a while)
