This is your Library Card to give you access to The Library in The Wharf.

In the Library you will find works by authors:

Aphrodite (X-Change)

Blue_Sparkle (Transgender)

Curio (Transgender)

JD_Texas (Transgender)

Suzie Morehead (X-Change)

Jirkislo (various)

Shadowspawn (various)

In particular, I highly recommend the X-Change and Transgender sections of Library. They are very worth reading.

 

Rumors of hidden passages and rooms are greatly exagerated.

Neither Read a Book! nor Library Card is required for the other to function, but they DO augment each other if you have both installed. Note: Library Card still requires Wharf.

For modders:

 

Adding [library_section_add]-, [library_book_add] and [library_mod_summary]& to allow for easy adding of books by mods.

 

Current Library Sections supported are:
$book_list    Works of Fiction: Long+
$story_list    Works of Fiction: Short+
$poetry_list    Poetry of all Flavors+
$gallery_maps    The Library's Map Room*
$xchange_list    Stories of fact and faction set in Summer City+
$lore_bios    Works about the People of Summer City+
$lore_company    Works about the various corporations at play in Summer City+
$lore_pill    Works about the various Pills that can be found, both legal and shady+
$erotica_list    Erotica specific list. While the first three lists CAN have erotica, this is the place for fully erotic works.+
$testimonials_list    These are meant to be actual things written by exchange users. Think public reviews in the form of stories cleaned up for "book" presentation.+

 

* (set:$gallery_maps to it + (a:"<img class='greyborder' src='img/Library/MapSummerCity.jpg' width=60% height=auto>") allows you to add maps to the Map Room in the Library.
+ (set:$variable_you_want_to_set to it + "Book Name") where Book Name is both the title of the work and the passage (:: Book Name) that contains your book. You'll need to copy the Generic Book template at the end of Library and modify it with the contents of your book.
- [library_section_add] allows you to add new sections to the Main Library passage. You'll need to add a $yourvar_list variable for the buttons and corresponding passages for each book.
& [library_mod_summary] a simple passage with "* [Your Mod Name Here]: [SHORT Description of your Mod here]"

Just wanting to report a mod conflict issue. This mod seems to have some conflict with several other mods, causing the mod loader to get stuck when generating files (for me it sticks somewhere around "Private Eye" or "I Throw Parties"). I know it has problems with the card battle mod, I encountered another issue with another set of mods but I didn't narrow down the exact mods it had conflict with (I think either some of the bar girl mods [Christy, Alex, or Janice] or something in the spike fun mod set [either spike fun itself or mods listed as recommended/required on the page, the problem may also be with Beach Party) Sorry I know that second one isn't helpful I just really wanted to play and it takes about half an hour every time I load my mods, so once I figured out it was library card I just disabled that and moved on. I might come back and edit this comment with something more useful once I've had time to more thoroughly test my mod list.

 

Not trying to rag on you or anything, I know this is a really new mod, just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you weren't already aware.

I have had no problems loading this mod with X-Change Battles or any other mod and it doesn't have any complex code nor edit any passages that would cause problems. So I am 99% sure this has to do with file size and the new mod loader. The point where you are sticking "I Throw Parties" is the second of two extremely long works. First suggestion, let the mod loader run overnight and see if it eventually unsticks and finishes its work. Second suggestion, try an older version of the mod loader. One without the pretty splash screen. I am using 1.2.6 and I have zero problems loading Library Card.

Hmmm. I had no problems getting Library Card to load with the new mod loader. If you can find me on Discord, that would be the easiest way to work on this. Otherwise, please post your list of mods here so I can run some tests.

The library media download is for 1.22.1  and this library card version requires 1.22.2
