This helps a lot with ship design for new people. Found by accident. And not a full list.

There are mods that allow you to build ships with enough power to maximise everything regardless of your player level. On PC only of course. Some of the mods require SFSE which limits those to the Steam sourced version only. 

 

Example on a low level character I can build a ship using 2 low level reactors. Or even 3 if I wanted more. Add landing gear as needed lol.  No Reactor Limit at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
