Objects Make Noise

View File

This is a personal mod I use that makes all doors, activatables and containers make noise when you interact with them that is unless you have the Quick Hands perk. It does this by an invisible explosion that gives off a detection event on par with a sword swing every time you interact with something. Don't worry. You can still flip off Nazeem and the guards won't notice.

It only effects the player(As far as I can tell). I never tested it with followers and I never plan to as NPCs are finicky as is.

As for me, I think its cool. Anything that makes stealth less of a snoozefest is an easy recommend from me. I'm on SSE, so I can't test it, but hope others enjoy it.

Thank you. It should work on SSE at least in theory as SLE and SSE are not that much different. I never tested it on SSE but the .esp and the script have no dependencies outside the base game so It should work. It of course is not marked with the .esl flag as SLE does not support it.

Actually I think I’ll update the mod description .

Ooh this is a really fun idea, are there any interactions you blacklisted from making noise? Or anything that's activated is gonna make the noise?

It only affects doors, activatables and containers unless you have the Quick Hands(the cheesy perk that no-one uses) which silences all interactions. Besides that there is no restrictions. If there is something you think shouldn't be making noise I am open to suggestions.
