Sexlab Framework 1.24 incompatible with Vilja 2.0

After the first sexlab animation (using whatever SexLab mod) Vilja (2.0 version) goes into a 'walking in place' animation when trying to follow PC.  Using any reset (of Vilja or Sexlab Framework)) does nothing.  So, as of this time, it must be considered incompatible.

You can fix Vilja by clicking on her and entering in the console:

setrestrained 1

setrestrained 0

 

Waited until after she was a follower, did your suggested fix, we had sex, she could only run in place when I left.  So, no.  Unless I misunderstood, this is not a fix.

You need to do it AFTER she get's stuck. It get's her unstuck. It does not prevent it.

 

I've been looking into why Vilja is different from other NPCs. Unfortunately the sources for Vilja's scripts are not available.

 

Ah.  Yes, that works a treat.  While it is not exactly immersion-friendly, it does the job.  It is no worse than having to re-equip your enchanted armor to regain the enchantments, I suppose.  Nothing worse than thinking your sneak and muffle enchanted items are actually working, then finding that they are not....

Ah yes, completely forgot about that. I never had the chance to try it... It worked nicely (as far as I can tell). But I have to say, Vilja is probably one of the most complex mods out there. Almost 3000 scripts... This is going to take some time... Though I have some ideas. I think it might have something to do with her handling of either furniture use or animation events. At least that's my first guess from my initial look at the scripts.

I've had the stuck bug with any custom follower. You may be able to start tracing the problem with a simple one like Viconia, not many if any scripts there.

 

Also the stuck thing seams to be related to locking onto and staying locked on to their last enemy targetted (even after death and despawn of said target). You can go to the other side of skyrim summon them and they will run back to that spot. After the body despawns it becomes the last spot the body was.

 

I did have a fun moment when I figured out it was the body. I could drag the body and she would follow it even if you threw it off the cliff.

I've tested it with Viconia, and she seems to be behaving normally. She does not get stuck.

 

I think I'll approach this from another angle and try to change the SL behavior to integrate the setrestrained calls. Maybe that will get her unstuck without causing other issues.
