As for the Thief's Gaiters, for some reason the body model makes its way through the panty model, And the same problem on all the other leg armor using this model of panties. I think I'm the only one with this problem because of my body settings, but I decided to mention it just in case

The only limitation is that we can't add new vertices for now, but better bodies should still be possible with this method.

Typically, a new nude body is made before outfits are converted over. Like the famous CBBE body from Skyrim and Fallout 4. Same with Nioh 2, Elden Ring, Cyber Punk, etc... when a new female body is introduced, Mod authors tend to often use the new body as a template to convert outfits over.

 

I reckon, if someone did come out with a new fully functioning female body, the rest will soon follow.

Truthfully, I don't know if the game has enough support behind it. People just seem like they aren't interested in this title as much as other ones. I could fully see it being one of those games that doesn't ever get a full-on nude body. Similar to the first dragons dogma, there just wasn't enough people interested in it.

The main issue atm is how the RE engine had modding tools specialized in single prefab characters (like in RE games), but the addition of sliders added a new layer of complexity, not to mention the clothing physics and other small things.

Games like DD2 always shoot themselves in the foot whenever they take such a heavy, anti-modder approach to their games. 

It's why none of these games will ever reach the grandiose status of Skyrim. Which is a shame really. These companies get in their head that money, money, money mindset, they don't see by supporting options that increase the replayability and longevity of a game, even if its free, actually helps them make their sales in the future. Hell, they can take mod ideas, rebuild it from scratch, and then sell it as a DLC to make it baseline and work with mods.

Capcom is not anti-mod, they just don't care and don't try to help the modding scene, like many other companies.

The issue is that DD games (since the first one) never had a big modding scene, and now with the modern REngine (that had extensive modding with fixed meshes) we have a new layer of complexity with the body sliders, meaning that bodies can't be modded with things like nipples/vagina, etc.

hopefully the modders build mods like on fallout 4 & skyrime  will we can make characters could have there own families and kid a mod like being female on skyrime and more

Recently been playing Dragon's Dogma 2, seriously feels like someone took skyrim and brought it to 2020+ with all the mods for simple important stuff like hdt hair and multidirectional movement..... I've been able to mod it quite a bit, sure some limitations but between the slider extender and nude mods it's been really great. Wish there was more support because so far 15+ hours in this game is great and has a lot more modding potential.

It's ironic that you say that, because I was just talking about how Nexon is the same way with their games. They have the first descendant just released and the new vindictus game coming later this summer.

 

I remember playing the original vindictus and adding the nude mod to the game. It would be patched out pretty quickly every time, and they took every conceivable measure to prevent people from using it. It completely blows my mind that they worked this hard to prevent a mod that doesn't change or ruin the game for anyone else playing it. Obviously for degenerates like me, it increases replayability and makes me want to continue playing it more. One of the reasons I always find myself going back to skyrim and fallout. Unfortunately, companies like this hate people messing around with their games, even if it's something as simple as a texture replacement or whatever else.

It's a great game, seriously hoping for some beefy DLC or a New Game Plus mode.  The one problem with the base game is you start to outpace the difficulty by the time you've explored most of the map, and done all the same fights repeatedly.

capcom has done nothing to stop modders. the problem that modders have is with how hard the sliders mess with mods. dd2 has class mods that change how the game plays and randomizes
