Animation - couple holding hands as they walk

It's been asked many times. But with so many bright new animations coming along these days, can't someone please make a little mod for hand-holding? Please?  😢

 

• walking side by side holding hands
• gender neutral
• automatic that one (player or partner) leads when narrow passage, pulling other behind. Selectable.
• exchange a quick kiss and / or hug while walking
• arms about each other walk

 

I know the big problem is the link on the hands. Given the Ostim team have a rather static hand-hold animation has this now been fixed?  Ride Together mod has a kind of crude link mechanism.

I wasn't aware you did that! Did you ever release it?  The hand link is really difficult, I know. Ride Sharing's author dreamt up some kind of mesh link (which makes a weird 'clank' noise). This ported version adds some options to the original.

Hm, interesting. I realize this is offtopic but I was under the impression we couldn't have followers move like dogmeat in Fallout 4 (where he's in front of the player) but that video suspiciously looks like a specific "follow position" was set for the follower - that does not look like the usual train of followers (i.e. everyone walking in a line). What did I miss?
