Question/suggestion for the mod RPO

So, on a whim I had one sim confess to their ongoing affair with another sim with RPO installed and the option for temporary separation came up, then I was going to go have the sim go and stay with their new lover, but was kind of disappointed to find out that the only options available were rental lots. To me, it seems like staying with the new partner should be a potential option, maybe they don't want to reconcile with their old partner, or maybe they simply can't help but continue to make "bad decisions".

 

Is it because that's only an option for sims with certain traits, like being evil, and I missed that detail, or is that not an option entirely, and if it's not an option, why not?

I use move/ seperate from household and you can then chose where your sim goes to live. That's the best option I've found.  Yeah I don't know why it's limited to the rental lots/vacationing worlds it's annoying, but the option to move out through the phone works.

Are you sure you've got empty lots or apartments for the sim that's moving out? Maybe MCCC already filled everything else?

 

Or it could be a new bug introduced in a newer version of RPO. I'm still using the last version from last year and I don't have that issue. I can choose any empty home. I don't remember if I could move them in with others, though. But I'm 100% sure I wasn't limited to rentals.
