candem Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Is there a way to have cloth and body mods for the player only? because and dont want every women in skyrim running around in skimpy clothes
Oversette Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I don't know about body mods (I suppose it can be done in the way Astrid gets a custom body at the end of the DB questline). And as for clothes, just don't use replacers. Look for armor mods that add armor, even skimpy versions of vanilla equipment, as new items and that don't add them to the leveled lists. If it doesn't have an .esp file, it will probably replace it for all NPCs.
Thulas Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I am not sure if it would fit your needs, but maybe you could try BodyChange.
candem Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 Well i still have a problem i dont find a good collection of armors that are compatible with cbbe bodyslide that dont replace instead of adding new armor
Thulas Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 You could try it the hard way and create new armors for each of the existing ones, then create the meshes via bodyslide and then put the created meshes into another folder so that the vanilla armors doesn't use this path. With these meshes you can create these armors then.
Guest corespore Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 if you want to have a body texture such as CBBE for your character only the best way to do it would be to use a custom race. I have used custom race mods and simply changed the body Nif files to CBBE allowing mine to be the only character in the game with CBBE while the rest used a low-res UNP to free up frame rate. You could also use PC exclusive animation paths http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14871/? to modify your character further but make sure to read all the instructions the mod author provides. There's a great deal of good advice given on the page about utilizing player only mods to make your character unique in the game so it's all well worth reading. Hopefully this helps some and good luck with your modding.
