If I had _any_ of the skills required to create lewd mods for Palworld I'd be doing it, but I have never modded anything made with Unreal before.  I'm good at getting halfway through creating neat stuff for Skyrim and never finishing though!.  I'd love to take a crack at making some of the existing mods compatible with One of a Kind, but I haven't found any instructions on where to even start there.  Allegedly the creator of One of a Kind might have posted instructions in their Discord server - but I haven't found a link to that.  I tried to find instructions on how to do simple things like open PAK files but I'm not sure what I found is relevant to Palworld since I couldn't figure FModel out.

 

Someone might be able to do the community a lot of good if they put a list of relevant tutorials together.  I'm getting old and apparently not as good at finding information as I thought I was.

Fuck dude. I wasn't a fan of how Kamie was handling things, but at the end of the day it's a fucking porn mod. No one deserves death threats over that (or, you know, in general).

I wouldn't put to much stock in Kamie's claims. She's claiming it was Palhub making the death threats, and I'm in the channel they're referring to and the admins have very specifically asked no one make such threats under penalty of banning

I mean, just because the moderators say something ≠ people actually obeying. If it were that simple, death threats wouldn't happen at all, since they're against ToS on most if not all services. Unless she tries to start a witchhunt against the people supposedly sending them, I don't see any reason to doubt her, especially with how vitriolic a lot of the drama has been (and considering a lot of it was posted on 4chan, who somehow manage to interject "troon" into every thread like trans women are the final boss)

 

I definitely don't believe most of what she says, since there's genuine evidence that a lot of it was BS and covering up the other side, but since she's not pinning the blame on the devs who left (this time) and not playing the hero and "bravely persevering" to bring us the mod anyway, I'm willing to buy this one.

There was no 0.0.9.5.

 

There was some unofficial re-upload containing original PoD 0.0.9.4 pak, a few files from JomoKiN (Feral World) and FungGirl Dinossom. They didn't even bother to rename the files. -_-

 

BTW, recently there was another reupload under StarSugar name. Once again, original PoD 0.0.9.4 pak, but with different set of extra files in archive including JomoKiN and PaulitoZ works. This time all files was renamed.

I thought they already did, now it's just a discord. Artists are either releasing individually or doing their work in a private discord and plan to do releases on LL / nexus as stuff becomes ready. Actual new models are being created so work is still happening, new mods will be out when they're ready.

I find it hilarious everyone has suddenly forgotten that the game has only been out only for a month and the only reason we have mods in the first place is because it's in Unreal.
Anyways POD was basically scammed... a bunch of devs and modelers saw a "indie" team with a passion and dream and decided to help them out... except on their own terms and at their own pace... and with their own design. The owner offered payment to the new team but every person declined because they wanting it to be their mod in the first place... their assets... their logo... their fame and "money". The original team was ignored when wanting to modify designs and basically just became "back end" barely doing anything anymore. The new team didn't even want a community (which later changed) which I guess makes sense from all the drama but most of that drama was because they couldn't handle their faces not being the front of it even though they were credited. I'm sure the original team would have redone the models in their own style but with all the vile stuff people said about it they had to quit or face consequences. This is a free nsfw mod people... grow up, make your own, or don't get any mods... and defiantly don't go around stealing other people's work.

So as someone who only joined the server to follow the project is there a discord or something for the other team. Was hopeful for the mod but hope something is still going to go on with it. heck didn't even last a month.

Yeah, the drama has just been so stupid. F***ing grow up people. It's a damn porn mod.

 

To the people who were throwing shade at the devs, screw you, it's f***ing porn for a make believe game, in a make believe universe with make believe creatures. If your not the one making mods then you have no place to criticize how or when the mod creators publish their mods or on what platform they decide to do so. It is not your place to crap on any mod because it isn't to your tastes. The mod is a GIFT to you so that you can have fun with a game. A GIFT given to you by the gracious modders who are gracious enough to share the mods they make.

 

To the devs who let their ego get in the way and argue all over the place about who gets credit for what, screw you, it's f***ing porn. As an artist myself, of course I want credit for the creations that I spend hours of work on but you know what? At the end of the day what creations are we talking about here? Porn. A porn mod for a game that you do not own. What's the point in credit for that? You're not going to profit off of it unless you want to break the law and open yourself up to being sued by the game company. At the end of the day you have made nothing that ammounts to much in the way of things. It's not the cure for the common cold/flu, it's not solving global hunger, it's not the cure for cancer. It's a model for a video game. It's a texture for a video game. It's a skeleton or an animation or a script or a cheat or any number of other things. Mods are made for enjoyment and shared for enjoyment.

 

Let us all appreciate the 'art' for what it is. Let us not bitch back and forth about how we want what we don't have or that we don't want what is given to us. Let us not forget that mods are not about fame and fortune. They are about having fun and sharing that with others. I've said it before but it's a damn shame that people in general can't be more grateful for what we have.

Considering what i heard about their supposed 'lead dev', the project burning down this quickly is better such that the actual developers can move on and do whatever work they want to be done. Whether be it feral or anthro.

We get mod support eventually then maybe some more solid lewd Palworld mods will start appearing. Right now, model editing is more complicated than it needs to be. (Thanks, Blender, for that) Disappointed to see it dropped but not the end of the world.

TLDR; team broke up because of main person being awful (scamming, animal abuse, general drama), now we all moved to continue working on the mod as a private group like we initially wanted. mod is still happening with the same team, just not with kamie at the helm as she was the sole reason why work became difficult. 

(there is no discord nor never will be one, pls don't ask for one)

jomo is continuing the feral mod, me and the rest are continuing the anthro mod.

Was looking here because the same thing happened to me, just sitting there minding my own business and suddenly the whole server disappeared on me, so had hopped to find answers here.

DIscord died and the drama with it. It's damned good to know there's still gonna be a mod, though i'd expect a different name or just slower development as things get back to a normal calmer pace. Ashamed to admit and i admit it's sad, the mod is why i bought the game in the first place 😋
