Marriage - More rage then anything other

Hi guys

 

First i will say sry for my english.

 

I cant marry anyone in skyrim. The questline goes always to the point there the mara priest say "wait 24h" and then i can wait centurys, because it never happen.

 

So im searching a marriage mod, that fixes the marriage event, or just skip it.

 

I had install the hearthfire, dawnguard and dragonborn dlc and many mods. But i dont think they are the real problem. Only UFO or Lovers Comfort maybe going in the marriage Skyrims mechanics from all of my mods, i think.

 

So pls.... someone knows a mod to get a bugfree marriage (or just to skip the damn marriage event away to the point there you married)?

So you are wearing the Amulet of Mara and you talk to someone you wish to marry and they do not even acknowledge you are wearing the amulet? This is how the dialog for marriage should be triggered. If it is not triggering the "Oh is that an amulet of Mara?" or some such than you must have a script or dialog conflict. For me, conflicts are a real pain, I have never been very successful at tracking them down, isolating them and then using a patch to resolve them. I can get as far as seeing what conflicts, but it's the patch job that always fails for me. I usually end up playing load order shuffle until it looks less conflicting and play on. I use this program, BOSS, it's been around a long time and seems to work pretty well overall.

I would also look at doing the laborious method of disabling mods either one at a time or in small groups, then trying again to see if the script / dialog works. Posting your load order and your Papyrus log will also help at looking for possible conflicts and problems.

Im wearing the amulet and the dialog options work to the point there you meet the mara tempel again.

 

I mean:

 

-I can buy the amulet for 200 gold

-Speak with my favorite girl and she says yes.

-I can speak again with maramal or how the mara guy is named aaand he gives me the quest to come 24h later for wedding.

 

But i can not:

-Marry. Because the 24h never ends. I can wait in or outside the tempel and the 24h waiting time never finished so, the wedding ceremony never starts and thats my problem.

 

My log would be a little bit long. I mean, im using 220 mods :|

 

But the most of my mods are more for a "immersive" game feeling and should only make skyrim more "realistic". Like as exampel Frostfall.

And yes, i think, im running 30 follower mods, but the most followers are standard followers.

 

Im using BOSS and wyre bash. Skyrim runs stable by me. Only sometimes the riften sadren idres quest bugged, or the dawnguard first entrance in seranas castle, but thats ok - config commands help out.

 

The only error, there i cant do away is that damn marriage bug

I've never run into this particular problem with the marriage system be the char male or female, only issues I've ever had is the bride or groom trying to run away before the priest is done talking.

I think, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11579 could help me, because it changes and maybe... bugfixes on this way... the ceremony. When somebody knows a link to the files for manual install, i would be happy.

I had test the linked mod now and ... mhm the old errors still lifes. So again on the search for a mod that changes or deleted the wedding ceremony.

tbh marriage in Skyrim sucks so you aren't missing anyting really - was just a gimmick implemented that adds nothing and is more in your head for RP reasons if you can manage it than anything it really added to the game.

enter into the console: sqv relationshipmarriage

 

That should tell you the stage and what the state of any aliases and variables. Once you ask Marmal to perform the ceremony it should be at stage 30 and all the variables set. Something probably did not set correctly after you spoke with Marmal.

if nothing works you may want to try this. just after you get the quest to "attend your wedding", fast travel to whiterun and fast travel back to riften.  this usually works for me.

I whas yesterday in the mood for brake my game again up and i started new.

 

Yesterday just with a clean game, skse, skyui, remoddeld cbbe armor and some model mods, i restartet it and my favorit custom follower.

 

Now it had worked.

 

... And yet i can reinstall +180 mods again :|

 

So im finaly married with level 2. Dont say i marry to fast

 

Edit: And forgett to say all dlcs installed.

Had the same problem. Disabled all my mods but the meshes, SkyUI, Fores, and the follower I wished to marry and started a fresh game and it works. I made a hard save right before the marriage proposal and again after the wedding occurred. I will now active the mods one by one till I find the mod that caused this problem for me and will post which one (or ones if there are multiple).

 

This might take me a while to find out. I will update the post when I have a list.

 

Edit: Every mod I had is running and no error has occurred, wedding went off without a problem. This could be an error from having too many mods going at once when the game is first starting or an in-game glitch that just needs to be avoided. I don't know. Anyway best of luck to those who have this problem and fixing it.
