Game FPS drops

Hello, I was playing and after a while, something seems to make the game drop FPS. The game will be normal for awhile, and for seemingly no reason the game will drop FPS every other footstep my character makes. I don't know what causes this, as the game was working normally beforehand. Does anybody know what might be causing this, or have a solution?

Edit: It may be worth noting that Saving and Reloading does not fix this issue.

Edit #2: I just loaded up my game after not playing for a few days, and the issue is no longer there. That being said, does anybody know what's causing this still?

There's a million reasons. No way to tell with this little information, I mean you didn't even post your fps numbers or any basic hardware diagnostics like cpu/gpu usage.
