I'm looking for a mod to make a character's portrait to stop aging after reaching certain age, without the immortal trait. Meaning, my character still ages normally but it looks younger visually.

Alternativelly is there a way to make a characters portrait go back to a certain age after they die? (i.e. the character ages normally but their portrait goes back to a certain age once they die)

The age morphs (i. e. the visible features of a character's appearance related to age) are stored in: Crusader Kings III\game\common\genes\01_genes_morph.txt . Create your own mod in your mod folder (can be done via the Paradox Launcher), set up the folder structure (in this case you need to create a folder called common inside the folder for your mod, and then a folder called genes inside that common folder, i.e. you want to mimic Paradox's folder structure), and copy the respective file from the base game (01_genes_morph.txt) into the newly created genes folder. Now play around with the values found under age_presets = { (found just below the top most entries) in said file until you know what they all do and found what you were looking for. (Don't forget to put your mod into a Playset and activate it.)

You can simply edit the save file, very easy.

If u dont know how to edit save file, u should read this

* If only want to edit 1 characters, only type his/her id into the box "Find what" and push "Find Next", then add the text "immortal=[the age u want}" as a new line at anywhere after the id of ur char. For example:

* If want to edit many characters automatically, you can use function "Replace All" like the image below:

and the result:

Then all female chars will show their 20 year-old face. Do similar to ur dynasty's chars, ur court...

Hope can help u.
