It accomplishes nothing for you, matter of fact it COULD make your situation worse and almost never makes it better.

I'm glad everyone here seem to be in support of you (including myself), but you need to understand those some of criticism are need to improve. DON'T get me wrong the ones that just being a shit should be block! They are not paying you for anything so if they don't like it, they CAN and should take their b*tching else where. Also

 you crying and quitting is probably exactly what they want, DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT SATISFACTION, doing so shows then they got the power to hurt you. Also you need to  know that not everyone will appreciate your work and that's okay because there is many people here alone telling you that your mods are excellent (including me).

 

BTW I'm a artist too! Heh.. I was kicked off a whole ass Original Character website, losing years worth of characters and their info all because i drew and had nsfw of loli characters years ago. So i know how stupid people can be and that hadn't stop me from sharing my art with others. So if you ask my opinion don't let them stop you from sharing that joy with others as well, also start ignoring those stupid people because your hard work deserves to be seen and you deserve so much more love then you received here.

 

Anyways i know I'm late to this convo but i felt you needed to hear abit tougher love. i hope you are doing soo much better now!

Great, now we might lose one of the best and most promissing artist in the site. People should be thankful that he even went and made a mod that pretty much no one was willing to make.

 

Your mods and skill were great and I hope to be able to see more of it in the future (even if not on this cursed site).

I hate to say it but, the longer the silence grows, the more I think he'll never come back to read any of the support he got after the fact. I've met wonderful people online and sometimes you never hear from them again. That's my experience anyways. I just want to be clear that, I'm saying this not just to you but using your words of "too late" as a lesson we can learn to treat everyone with consideration that sometimes our words are final. I think I have to respond to everyone, I accept my reaction was not too good, believe I do not care about destructive criticism when it comes to commissions, because the client was who paid and the client was happy with the product, and that was the matter, but when it comes to free content, it is like "dude this is free, I am not charging nothing for this, take it or leave it" that simple, and I take criticism and try to improve, I have been an artist for ten years already and I live of that.
But I've been suffering from burnout for the past month, and it's been extremely difficult for me to return to drawing. I live off commissions and have pending work, but due to this burnout, I can't work, which sucks lol, so to distract myself and rekindle my creativity, I've been doing more 3D and modding my favorite games.

So I was stressed and in a bad mod, and the last thing that made me feel bad was that people were comparing my free work vs premium content of a pro modeler that for sure is doing a good wallet with it, so all I saw was "use this model even if it is bad anyway soon the other modder will release a better one" so I lost my mind, because it was like, someone is comparing my free work vs someone that is a professional and lives for doing this and saying something like just my mind after have a bad day.
And I share some of the blame for modding such a popular game lol. I have to admit that this is my first time playing Granblue, and I had no idea how large the community was.

 

I have to thank everyone for their support; I swear I was being dramatic to get some attention lol; I was just having a bad month and was stressed out, so all I wanted to do was share joy and some good nsfw content.

I apologize for all of the encouraging words I have received recently; I apologize for taking the time to respond; I was not feeling too good.

honestly.. i understand how you feel, i can't tell how many times i gave art for free got that one entitled jerk lol.

 i think the best course of action is to just a break and go for a nice walk. (at least helps alot for me on stressful days)

 

don't sweat it, as long as your doing alot better than before.

also that super cute so far! i kinda wish charlotta could use the fish sword with that, it would be perfect! lol

The best thing to do about the criticism situation is to just let it go now. Everybody has had their time for hot takes and apologies, both sides have said some and a bit more. We should drop it and move on with the thread. Now we can return to the real purpose of this thread that everybody came here for in the first place - talking about identity politics and censorship

Modders do a great job, most will do it for Free but thats also why it can be so slow but also really good because alot of the time its passion that drives these mods to happen. As for the opinions and feedback from others, Small things can be fixed, like issues, bugs or just things thats missing but its still the designers choice on how they make it, sure they can improve on it and I think thats what alot of people want but to outright change it, its something the community shouldn't request, let the designer of the mod review your comments, your issues and your opinions and leave it at that, am sure they will fix any bugs or error that is found, they will be fixed when the designer is able to. Please stay positive as modding is for everyone. Those who mod are amazing please keep doing what you enjoy.
