Problem with RaceMenu

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hello. I have a problem with racemenu. Game version: Skyrim SE 1.6.1170.0.8 and SKSE - 2.2.6
Latest RaceMenu from Nexus
When I type "showracemenu" the vanilla version appears.
According to Nexus, I have everything installed correctly - "REQUIRES SKSE64 Anniversary Edition 2.2.6 or greater and Game Version 1.6.1170".
All mods work properly, but my character's face looks like the one in the picture.
Body type - CBBE 3BA (3BBB)
What could be causing this and how can I fix it?ScreenShot2738.jpg.97370faa39193600b1451875d3ea01b0.jpg

Is that a preset you're trying to load?

Look inside the face paint and makeup sections of racemenu to see what textures are trying to be loaded. It could be  a face mole or something that you don't have installed but the preset is still looking for it.

The main problem is that RaceMenu does not work for me, even though I do everything correctly.
Only vanilla racemenu works for me, but I can't change anything in the appearance of my character.
The last update broke RaceMenu.

Hi! Let me start by saying that I don't play Skyrim and all my advice is mostly just ideas. I can't test anything myself.

I saw that there were a lot of requests for exactly this problem, but no solutions have been proposed at the moment. Anyway, these game updates create a lot of problems. It is not very easy to update all DLLs.

Regarding your problem. Are you using Enhanced Character Edit SE? Have you updated this plugin?

!!! Be sure to read the description before updating. There's a lot of important stuff there !!!

If using Vortex, might want to check 'Plugins' under 'Mods' and see if the .esp is disabled/unchecked. I just downloaded the mod and it was disabled for me by default for some reason. (This could be a user error on my end but I believe I only installed the mod and never saw it in game till I checked the esp manually. Works right after.)
