I'm roleplaying my character as someone who hates wearing shoes cause, well, I do IRL, but that leaves the boots slot unavailable to use for enchantments. I haven't been able to find one myself, so I'm wondering if folks here might know where I could find one, preferably compatible with HGEC/OCOv2?

You don't want to wear shoes.   Then don't wear shoes.

You want to use the foot slot for enchantments.  Then you need shoes.

You can use the  HGEC and Roberts-male foot  meshes as shoes.  So you wear shoes that look like feet.

In the ConstrctionSet you create a copy of a armor or clothing or both .

The new armor/clothes you give the name foot.

You change the model path to  characters\_male\foot.nif (male)  and characters\_male\femalefoot.nif (female)

You create a new chest and put the new foot in the chest.

You place the chest in the world or in a interior cell. ( chest with Player ownership if you place the chest in a cell with owner )

Done, save the new esp

Here armor and clothing  foot . Both use the  foot.nif you have in  meshes\characters\_male

FootShoes.esp

When you leave the start dungeon/sewer the chest is right above you. 2 armor and 2 clothing feet in the chest. The chest respawns.

EDIT:  I still looking for good anklets.  Hope in the Apachii Mod I will find some.

And there are too many different foot.  Which body replacer do you use? DMRA, original HGEC, Setbody reloaded HGEC, . . .  It's all HGEC.  Wrong feet and you have a gap between feet and legs.

Best you upload  foot nif ( male and female ) you use. Then I can create a version with your foot meshes with anklets.

EDIT2:

something like this?

feet.jpg

or silver?

Thanks! As I said in the original post, I use OCOv2. I can deal with the ESP stuff myself, I really just need a mesh to work with haha

The ones you posted are alright, a bit flat but in absence of anything else they're good

I don't use OCO2. I have the mod somewhere... but I don't know if I have the HGEC patch.

Would be easier if you upload your male and female foot, then I can add the anklet.

If you mix the different HGEC version you get gaps:

e.g. the LAPF/HGEC Body with BBB v1.12   lowerbody    with   SetBodyReloaded   foot

femalefoot.jpg

Ok here both versions LAPF/HGEC Body with BBB v1.12    and   SetBodyReloaded

And the Texture from Apachii Goddess Store ( there are more anklets in the Apachii Mod )

Anklet foot.7z

You can delete chains you don't want. With NifSkope "Remove Branch" funtion.

I would upload it, but I'm not sure the license of the mod allows me to re-upload the files anywhere? I'll have to check.

Update: ok the actual bodies used by Seamless OCOv2 are HGEC EVE C-Cup Upperbody + Normal Lowerbody (non-BBB) and Robert Male v5.2 Muscular

Seems like they allow redistribution, so I'll post the actual files when I get to my computer

Anklet Mod.7z

male are all the same

female three different ones

New textures path and folder. So you can change the texture without conflict with Apachii Goddess store,

With esp and chest. Chest location the same as the old esp. On the roof of the dungeon/sewer exit.

Yes I now you omly need the meshes. But I had the old esp, and it only took a few minutes of work to add 4 more anklets and change the meshes path.

I ended up replacing the textures with a new set I made, and creating a new .esp 😅

Since you converted the models, I'd like to ask for your permission to release my version of the mod. I put in a lot of work into it yesterday, and it would be nice to be able to do that if it's ok with you.

If it is, could you also tell me what the actual origin of these models is? Also for proper crediting purposes.

Thanks again!

Nothing is my work. The anklets are from Apachii Goddess store the foot  from the body replacers (HGEC and Roberts male are used in 1000 armor clothing Mods)

Release it.   if you want you can add a "thanks for help", but that is not necessary.

Ah thanks. I mean your work is combining the foot model with the anklet haha.

The trouble with Apachii Godess Store is that it's really a compilation of mods by different people, I tried figuring out exactly which one it comes from, but I haven't been able to based on the screenshots on the page, that's why I figured I'd ask you
