Looking for a guide on how to make custom videos mod for VOTW

As the title says, I'm looking for a guide on how to make custom videos for the Videos Of The Wasteland mod. Preferably that's up to date or at least the latest.

Guides are listed in "videos" section on mod page: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24435?tab=videos (see "How to make videos for Votw 2.0 #1-4"). I followed this and it works.

Is this the only guide that exists?

Did you use all the programs from the guide or did you use a substitute for some of them?
