Cornoholio Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 (edited) Edit: I've decided to just wait for the damn updates. Edited January 19, 2024 by Cornoholio thread is obsolete
tdkq413 Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 I have no idea about that process, but did you try running steam as administrator? Could be an issue with the install being in your program files and not some other location, which can break a lot of modding tools as well.
Cornoholio Posted January 18, 2024 Author Posted January 18, 2024 I am running it as admin, yes. I'm trying to downgrade to 1.6.1130 as to - play the fucking game. Guess I'll need to reinstall all my mods again when this newest fuckup from Todd the Bastard is fixed. I'm following this post: I also found this:
ghostwalkr Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 I was able to run the download using the console.. I'm wondering if it might be related to your setup is pointing to D:\Program Files (x86). Are you able to move your Steam installation from this location to somewhere else on your D Drive?

I'm just using a dedicated partition for the whole bethesda-crap and steam. But... this thread is obsolete I guess. I'll just wait a week until things update I guess. Still... this is just... I saw the changelog, this is just another try to get us to monetarize mods with that creation-club bullshit. Man, Bethesda really turned to shit the last few years. Edit: I really don't see how changing the download folder would do anything though... and my D-partition is a separate 500GB SSD, with over a hundred empty gigs. Edited January 18, 2024 by Cornoholio
