Looking for CBBE vanilla armor pieces conversion

Recommended Posts

Hey folks,

I'm using CBBE as my base female body.
But this little detail always annoyed me...

The vanilla game armor pieces, like leather chest pieces etc. aren't fitting.
(See Screenshot and look at the back, how a part of the piece is missing...)

Did anybody convert those already?

Yeah, you're right.

It seems like I already installed those correctly.

The issue seems to be somehow related to a few of the "third party" clothes, I installed later on.
Some fit quite decent, others look awkwardly distorted.

So I guess, the placement of those pieces must be handled by some "bones" or "nodes" in the clothing nifs or tri files, right?

f.e. they look quite OK on this Vaultsuit replacer:

but still clip like hell here,
it kinda seems like the placement on the Y-Axis is set off:

Both clothes have been "bodyslided" and do fit perfectly with the base body

That's Lazman's mod (the second outfit), Fallout 4 outfits, if I'm not mistaken. There does seem to be an issue with the morphs. I got the morphs to work the first time, after I'd restarted Fallout 4 they've never worked since. Many of the nexus comments also mention morph issues.
