Animations used to work.. Used to.

So, as the title suggests, I'm having problems with my Sexout animations. They used to work, but seem to have stopped working after I installed NVEC. I uninstalled NVEC, and now the animations just don't want to work at all. My load order seems to be properly dictated by BOSS, so I'm honestly not sure what the problem is. Load order is as follows:

Boy my hand hurts. I'll be attaching a screenshot of what happens when another actor decides my girl is ripe for picking.

They kinda just.. Stand there. Little weird.

 

Now, as I said at the top of this post, this started happening after I installed NVEC and that other thing. I've since uninstalled that, and have had no results.

I ALSO HAVE THIS PROBLEM! It used to work. I have SI as well, but I later got Sexout and the animations stopped working (the characters just stood there). I fixed the problem, but then it came back and I tried fixing it again but to no avail. I've stopped other mods, reinstalled the mods, did two fresh reinstalls of New Vegas, and nothing I reinstalled NVSE countless times and put the extender in Data>NVSE>Plugins. Is it something to do with the two extender files? (I'm refering to nvse_extender.dll and nvse_extender_ng.dll) cause right now they are both in the plugings folder. Or maybe it's some of the animations aren't getting along with each other? Although I doubt it as I have done two complete fresh reinstalls of the game.

If so, the most likely thing is that you have some sexout tokens stuck in your inventory, open the dev console, enter:

 

player.inv

 

If you see anything with a name like 'sexout anim token' or 'DO NOT BUY OR TAKE' in title, which is not pregnancy related, then type:

player.RemoveItem XXXXXXXX Y

where Xs = are the formid (hex code eg: 1600ac11) of the item to remove, and Y = the number you have to remove

 

if you have picked up a lot of items since it broke you may have to use 'Page Up' to find them.

thanks for replying! checked the console when the animations were SUPPOSED to play and it read as follows:

I have SexoutWillow and tried to seduce her, which like I said has worked before, but has stopped. It's not only her, I tried Cass, I tried using SexAssault with my female character from another save - nothing.

 

I also looked thourgh my inventory with player.inv and couldn't find any tokens like you said. Is there anything else I can try? 

 

EDIT: Actually, when I used SexAssault with my female character, I noticed that HER animations worked fine, but the male characters just stood there when sex anims were supposed to happen. Strange.

     Wonderful. For me personally, I had tokens I shouldn't have had. After removing both of them, everything works again. I probably should've mentioned that I had taken a token that said "DO NOT TAKE" from Veronica. Not the greatest idea as it seems. Thanks for the help, I'll mark this as solved. Hopefully Bob here will be able to find a fix.

@Narcaidas: glad that fixed it, yeah never move tokens- don't pick them up or give them away. Sexout uses them as a workaround to make the Fallout engine do things more than it was originally designed for, hence its not a perfect solution but it works most the time. Tokens can get stuck on actors (usually not the player) if you change cell (go in or out of a building or fast travel) whilst a sex animation is in progress, so avoid doing that. If you see a naked male character just standing around it means this has probably happened but you can fix it by opening console, clicking on them, typing 'inv' and using the same steps.

I looked through mine and others inventories and only found Body Tokens for BNB and Cali. I don't get any warning signs as I start the game and I just download the latest version of SexAssault, and still get the same issues :/

I think sexout is not compatible with wsex, try disabling that and see if it works.

 

If that does work, there is a mod that converts wsex to sexout allowing you to use both, somewhere in the downloads section you can try.

I tried unticking wsex, but still no progress. I tried to find that converting mod, but I didn't see it. Is that the wsex sexout override mod you're talking about??? Cause I downloaded that, but it only used wsex dialogue and tried to use Sexout's resources. Could you post a link to the mod you're talking about?

you have to untick all the mods, that use wsex, too. because wsex.esm will still be loaded while needed from another mod. (And by the way: If you deinstall/delete wsex.esm while still having the mods ticked that require it, the game will usualy crash on load.)

I've unticked them, uninstalled them, then completely reinstalled them so they would overwrite any files I manually put in before, then uninstalled them again and the animations still don't work. I feel like it's royally fucked in such an irreversible way, yet the answer seems so simple, like there's a rogue file in my meshes folder or something.

I am having the same issue, they just stopped suddenly. I did the console check and there was no such items listed for my character, though in my pipboy inventory misc there is 3 undress tokens but they have always been there.

 

So not sure what else to try, i haven't added any new mods or made any changes. It worked and then later during the same play session it just stopped and has not worked since.

I am having s similar issue, but in my case I only had sexout (an older version) and sexout rapers.  The anims used to work fine, then I went about 6 months without playing  new vegas, I had not installed ANY new mods, but when I started to play an old save game again, everyone having sex just stands face to face, slightly merged together until the climax then they fall to the ground.  Even starting a new game, un-installing and re-installing the mods, or downloading and installing the newer version of sexout and all associated mods hasn't fixed this issue. 

     Another issue I have is some interactions have the dialog, but no anims follow
