DocClox Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 (edited) I've been kicking some ideas around for a perverted starship module manufacturer. I'm not particularly sold on the name, but it'll do for now. Anyway, I've made some models in Blender to see if the idea works. That's a side-on, cut-away view of a cockpit. The blue textures would be fully transparent (or very nearly). The oval shape is inspired by the Starborn Guardian bridges, except for being almost completely transparent. We have an end point equivalent to a hab module for easy connection onto a ship. Then a transparent tunnel curves down to drop a level before emerging into the cockpit itself. The pilot seat is basically a bondage frame. Sitting at it either won't be allowed unless naked, or maybe will result in getting auto-stripped and having your stuff stored somewhere on the ship. Somewhere you can only get to after walking down the long transparent access tube. Flight controls are implemented by means of three invasive plugs and two phallus shaped hand devices. That might not sound like it gives a lot of control, but the manufacturers assure me it's all terribly intuitive, once you get used to it. There's also a glitch the manufacturers haven't been able to quite clear up. Shield damage can cause shocks to the pilot, while damaging or destroying enemy ships can make the plugs vibrate. The manufacturers assure me that this isn't a major problem and will in any event be fixed with a forthcoming firmware upgrade. Probably. There's also a tendency for the controls to emit a saline lubricating fluid from time to time. It's harmless, non-toxic, and even contains nutrients, so in the case of the oral interface it can be quite useful for keeping the pilot hydrated over long flights. I'm not sure whether to go for a chair as the seat, or just to suspend the pilot from cuffs mounted on a ring and thereby play into the circles motif of the game. On the other hand, I don't want to obscure the view of the pilot. One of the the things I want to do is, when you land at a starport, have the plugs withdraw and then there's a delay before the cuffs open. Meanwhile the downward curve of the "neck" means that the pilot is pretty much at ground level and the transparent canopy means she's on full display forthe small crowd of onlookers that's bound to gather when this particular ship lands. It's also quite convenient for over-zealous customs inspectors want to make absolutely certain that you're not hiding any contraband in any difficult-to-access locations. There's also a rumour that the cuffs may not always release in the event of a boarding action by pirates or other hostiles, but the manufacturers have strenuously denied that any such problem exists. With the canopy hidden, we get a better look at the floor area. Again, I wanted to pick up on the "circles" theme of the game. So we have an inner ring giving access to the pilot station. This is also going to be clear plastic, so there's going to small glowing lights around the edges so people don't accidentally fall off. More of a QoL thing for the player than anything. The outer ring has markers for the crew to stand ready, and absolutely not so they can perv at the pilot getting herself into a right lather as the flight progresses. So anyway, that's what I've been up to the last couple of days. I'd hoped for better renders, but getting glass to display well in Blender is as bad as getting models to appear i-game. (And yes, I'm mainly doing this to give myself a break from exporting meshes only to find they don't show up. I needed a break). Edited December 8, 2023 by DocClox 5
Kit Nova Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I had a similar thought about having variants of the more traditional cockpits but replacing the piloting seat with a lewd one in a kinda motorcycle sitting style inspired by a few anime I've seen. Related NSFW art I found below. Spoiler 4
