Sandatharius Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 I didn't see any threads about this since the update, but there's now a glitch that makes Sims constantly and endlessly shower all the time. Turning off Autonomy could likely stop this happening, but seems pointless since they won't do anything unless I tell them to. Kind of takes the fun out of the game. Are EA aware of this bug that started after the update? Once again, it's clear that EA just rush these pre game-pack updates through, without testing them thoroughly.
KidCurie Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 It's not a bug on EA's end. Nisa K's mod is causing issues with showers, pools, and beds.

Well, I don't have that mod. Also, people who don't use ANY mods at all are experiencing this bug. I also removed my mods and any Sim I have still showers endlessly. So, yes - it IS a bug on EA's end. Edited December 8, 2023 by Sandatharius
KidCurie Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 You don't need to be snippy when I'm just trying to help you out. Most people who are having shower issues are mod users so those are the reports I'm going off. 1

Sorry if I offended you. You stated that it wasn't a bug on EA's end, when it clearly is. Otherwise, why did it happen right after the game update, and wasn't happening before? I haven't added any additional mods. Yes, mod users are experiencing the issue as well. But, as I mentioned, it's happening with people who aren't using any mods. If it was being consistently caused by mods, then removing my mods would have fixed the issue. There's a thread about it on EA Answers, and most of the people responding there aren't using any mods at all. Edited December 9, 2023 by Sandatharius
Himalaysian Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I set up a strip club with a "dungeon" and thought that a shower would be a nice amenity for the workers if they needed it. My janitors would take showers THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE SHIFT. I ended up locking the access and now I just use them myself. I posted this issue a few months ago and it still remains unanswered. 1
Sandatharius Posted December 9, 2023 Author Posted December 9, 2023 Well, I decided to turn off the autonomy for showering. At least the game is playable again.
