If I just want a few Sexout mods without the buffs/debuffs...

All I really want is SexoutFadeToBlack and SexoutSexKey.  Here's what I don't want, which it would seem SexoutNG Core, SexoutNG Data, SexoutCommonResources, or a combination of these comes with by default:

1) T6M and apparently both Roberts and Breezes.  I already installed a sort of custom iteration of T6M myself, and I went ahead and threw in a pants-wearing Roberts in the interest of completeness.  Since I intend never to utilize men in anything I do with Sexout, I am not worried about the, ah, lack of equipment.  But what I am worried about is having my hard work overwritten needlessly.

2) Effects like STDs, lust, etc.  I don't want arbitrarily defined realism bonuses.  Just the situational animations.

As I said, I took a look inside the fomods and bsa's and it really looks like I could get away with not installing the Core fomod at all.  But would that break things?  Sexout itself is supposed to be just a modder's resource but it comes packaged with .esm files, so I have to be wary.

Bottom line is I want to avoid installing the above two items.  Just want FadeToBlack and SexKey to function. ;p

Read the requirements for Fade to Black & SexKey and install them as required, as far as know neither needs SCR and if you don't want Lust or STD's don't install them.

Sexout.ESM & SexoutData are the core animation engine and animations, good luck trying to get animations happening without them :)

You can't have Roberts and Breezes at the same time
And will be asked about if you want to install those (Yes there is a option to no install them)
Obviously you only get this when you use Fallout Mod Manager which is recommended

And sexout installs female body mods as a .bsa which don't overwrite any on your stuff you can even delete the file if you want

And sexout core is required it's a framework not a modders resource

Well I went ahead and installed just the Sexout core plus SexKey (no data, no SCR) and that much works.  FadeToBlack crashes to desktop, but honestly I think it's because of a conflict with Yukichigai's bugfix mod, which includes a reinstatement of sounds during the fade to black.  I'll have to see if there's a way to disable the Yukichigai version while retaining everything else.

Data are all the animations so basicly you still have nothing...

Just a correction.  I took a look beforehand.  All the animations are in the core.  And sure enough they seem to work.

Might not be entirely what your after but i might aswell say (though i am on an old version of sexout). Regarding body data folder replaces bsa files so you can use pretty much whatever you want.

And regarding "2) Effects like STDs, lust, etc.  I don't want arbitrarily defined realism bonuses."

If you are referring to things like status effects like, buffs and debuffs. I removed mine aswell ^_^.

Get FNVedit, alot easier to edit with then GECK. Open the files in FNVedit and simple remove the effects, very self explanatory and very easy to understand.

Once you have loaded the sexout files in FNVedit.

Click the sexout files and there will be a list sorted by type (like weapon, armor, form lists, perks, scripts, effects and so on).

Just find the buffs and click them.

Weasy editing window shows up on the right.

In the edit/info window all data will be shown in plain simple text, just find the line with the effect and remove or set to 0.

*dont delete the entire buffs/debuff or you will get errors*

It's easier then it sounds. Oh, you can also find potential errors here, "zoom" into files to see if there is clashing data, will be color marked, red stuff is potential errors.

Pardon if you already knew this.

I like it.  Definitely prefer this solution to using MCM (and being reminded every time I pause the game that I had to install a new menu just because there doesn't exist a plain-jane version of Sexout as a resource mod).  Thanks for the tip.  I have used FNVEdit / Geck some, but it isn't always that easy to pinpoint the data I want.  Geck mixes a plugin's data in with FalloutNV, and FNVEdit lacks any sort of search function.
