Reset Faction Animosity Towards Player?

So somewhere along the lines of gameplay some of the factions like bandits have ceased their animosity towards me. I am wondering if there is a way to reset the factions? Near as I can tell this may have happened when using SexLab Defeat. I think at some point I got knocked down, the enemies stopped combat and then I recovered but the enemies never again initiated combat. Oh sure I can go up an punch a bandit in the face a couple of times and then they will attack me but it kind of takes the fun out of skyrim if no one actually wants to fight you.

Well then here is the trick, get knocked down and act like your passed out. Then after 30 bandits have their way with you, start walking around acting like a meat toilet. Voila! You'll find that no one harbors any animosity towards you ever again!!!

Sounds like a plan, i'll try that. Gotta use defeat, you say?

You can use the console command "addtofaction <faction ID> -1" to remove yourself from a faction (last number is the faction rank and -1 will remove you from the faction). The tricky part is finding out which bandit faction you've been stuck in. The bandit ally faction has the faction ID "000E0CD9", but there might be multiple. Try typing "help faction" in the console, it'll give you a list of all the factions in the game, from there you can try and figure out which faction might be the culprit, in case 000E0CD9 doesn't work.

Ok, thanks for the help, actually it isn't just one faction. It appears to be ALL hostile factions. Creatures, animals, undead, vampires, bandits, the woman I groped down the street, trolls, dragons. Every single hostile faction now treats me like I'm not even there.

ALL factions? Woah. Seems unlikely it's a faction problem then, unless you've got a very broken Defeat installation and your character is ludicrously promiscuous/very much into the inter-species thing :P

Have you tried cleaning/rebuilding SL and SL-Defeat in the MCM menus?

If the addtofaction thing seems to work and you plan on doing it for all the affected factions I'll point you to the UESP Wiki article on factions, it covers all of them I think.

Thanks, I'll try a clean up before hacking away at the console until all that is left of my fingers are bleeding nubs.

Damn, that was easy, oh for the love of all things why didn't I run the clean up on defeat in the first place. Damn it all I'm stupid.
