Groundshaker Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I just recently got ME3 on Origin and have been searching all over the place, what I've been searching for is can you use Texmod with Mass Effect 3 on Origin?
windpl Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 texmod is dx9 hokup so it should work on whatever platform you got game.
Groundshaker Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 sorry I neglected to add, I've been looking for instructions, the only that I've found so far are for the ME3 demo, and I'm not sure that they'll work.
windpl Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 You are really bad at searching things 1. Copy your Texmod exe into the folder where your MassEffect3.exe is located2. Rename your Texmod exe into MassEffect3.exe and the MassEffect3.exe into whatever name you please3. Start Origin and click onto the game4. Now it should load the Texmod exe5. After that go back to your folder and change the name of your Texmod exe and game exe6. Now go back to Texmod and browse the game exe and run it from: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/9691421/1 or Ok, listen up. using Texmod in ME3 is a little tricky, since we need to launch the game via origin.1. Go to Origin Games/Mass Effect 3/Binaries/win32There you'll find "MassEffect3.exe". Copy Texmod.exe to this folder.2. Rename "MassEffect3.exe" to "MassEffect3_original.exe" and rename "Texmod.exe" to "MassEffect3.exe"3. Run Origin, Launch Mass Effect via Origin. Texmod should appear. Do nothing with the Texmod GUI at this point.4. Go back to your Binaries/Win32 and rename the files to the original Names again (MassEffec3_original -> MassEffect3 and Masseffect3(Texmod) -> Texmod)5. Proceed with Texmod as usual. Choose "MassEffect3.exe" as application and load your tpf.6.Enjoy from http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/11209527/1 or and so on.
Groundshaker Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 thanks Windpl, you're right I am bad at searching sometimes
