Nuverotic Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 So this is a two-fold post. Number one, is there a way to donate to the server because it's very clearly under a lot of stress. I assume traffic is just much higher than it was 4 years ago and there's loads more content taking up storage. We should all try to pitch in a bit to see if we can't give the head guys some relief and upgrade the servers. That's all outside my area of expertise but you get my drift. Secondly, I'm getting an error message -200 at 99% of file upload and I can't figure out why. I thought it was because I had a dash in the name but I removed it and am still having the issue. Anyone know what error -200 is?

Anyone know what error -200 is? First part: 2nd part is a bit thin on info. If it's a http return code, 200 is the OK response, so it should've worked (and you should not see any error page). If it's something else, I've no idea what you are describing. How big is your upload? It does not exceed the max. file size for LL? 1
Nuverotic Posted October 18, 2023 Author Posted October 18, 2023 Alright, Subscribe Star. That must be a relatively new thing. I don't remember them using that before. But thanks for that info. Second thing, I waited an hour and tried again and it worked so, I'm not sure what the issue is but it's all good now.

They basically came into being or at least became more attention after Patreon started to crack down on those creators catering for a more "mature" audiences.

As it seems everyone's doing lately for some reason. Guess they wanna take us back to the religious zealotry days. Thought we were progressing as a culture but apparently not.

Thought we were progressing as a culture but apparently not. We seem to have hit a linguistic fad, where people think it's cute to take a word to refer to something which was the opposite of its normal meaning. And, sure, it's funny for a while (and maybe sometimes even necessary for personal survival, in some countries or cultures). But eventually nihilism or whatever gets engaged. And eventually consequences start snowballing. (Meanwhile, religions are full of echos of choices which survived past disasters. So, they can't ever really go away - even when different sects are actively trying to kill each other and/or themselves.) We're kind of lucky that it has been no worse than it's gotten. 1

I couldn't agree more.
