Looking for a few BNB conversions

The short of it is that I got my hands on a body mesh that I really like:

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16043/?

which has BNB conversions for all the armor:

http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45445//?

but the BNB versions were done badly, causing this to happen:

The two screenshots which use the "puffy" BNB mesh (second link above) exhibit those bizarre reflections at certain angles.  It's not alpha, it's not normals, it's not anything but a series of bad BNB conversions.  Basically, the lone body mesh (femaleupperbody.nif) wasn't even converted to BNB.  What was converted was the five(?) shoes in the armor downloads, all of which replace the body mesh with one standing on high-heel tip-toes, and all of which exhibit the reflections.

So that's what I'm after.  BNB conversions of the main body mesh and the shoes-with-body-replacement meshes.  Please PM me.  I can and will donate for the effort after spending a whole fruitless day trying to do this myself. ;p

Thought I would give an update.  Since I seem to enjoy troubleshooting app flaws, I'm sticking with this until it's done.

The problem is with Blender.  Quite literally: If I take one of the shoes meshes, import it into Blender, and then straight up export it (after deleting Blender's cube) without doing anything else, the resulting mesh has the shiny corruption problem.  So the answer isn't a simple re-do of the BNB conversion; I managed to get that working.  The answer may lie in fiddling with import settings, export settings, or perhaps Blender revision.  I use the one specified in the primary BNB guide and given in its package with all the libraries Blender requires (2.49b).  Nif support is clearly flawed in this version.  It remains to be seen whether things have changed in a newer version (assuming compatibility remains good with a different version).

Okay folks.  I found a solution.  I am literally over the moon.

No, it was not something I was screwing up.  Yes, it was a problem with Blender - either the import or the export.  And who knows?  Maybe every single BNB conversion out there, which followed the various tutorials, have weird spots and areas on their meshes that exhibit reflectivity that shouldn't be there.

I digress.  What I did was meticulously A/B compare, within Nifskope, the original mesh (pre-Blender import) with the completely unmodified export from Blender.  Apart from the skin type variable discrepancies covered by the tutorials, I found one thing extra:

(Body mesh) -> NiTriShapeData -> TSpace Flag

In the originals, this is "1".  In Blender's export, it was converted to 16.  A little Googling revealed that 16 is what you want for GECK compatibility.  But whatever.

The solution: Change it back to 1, and then go Spells -> Batch -> Update All Tangent Spaces.

This is one of those cases of I don't know what all this does and I don't care because the ordeal is over and everything is working.  Though I will say this is probably one of the more involved little asides I've ever had to deal with which I ultimately solved for myself.

While I'm happy you found a solution, two things:

1) This has nothing to do with Sexout so it shouldn't be in the Sexout tech support section.

2) If you had just attached the images to your post instead of putting them on a weird upload thing, more people would have seen them and could have immediately told you that you need to update tangent spaces.

BUT, it shows a high level of inquisitiveness to actually solve something like this yourself. This is how modders get started.

Well, sorry for bad placement.  I think I actually just Googled around for people talking about BNB mods and ended up on this specific forum.

I didn't want to attach the image because it contained nudity (rather in-your face at that) and I wanted to avoid getting into hot water, especially as I was fairly convinced at the time that no solution would be had without the help of others.

I don't know if I'd call it inquisitiveness so much as a strong desire not to let a considerable amount of effort go completely to waste. ;p  Incidentally, I have since fixed a bevy of other flaws with the T3F package, including the absence of a BNB version of the naked model, and the fact that the bikini armors were inexplicably resized (smaller) to better fit the original (non-puffy) T3F model, which caused the body to poke through them slightly.

I don't know how much experience you have with mods here, but most of them contain graphic sexual situations. Post whatever you want so long as it's not racist or involving children.
