Matchmaker absolutely refuses to work with 1.20 and up

Okay, I have installed Sexlab 1.20 at least fifteen times, each time following the instructions to a T.  But each time, there's a problem with match maker.  EACH AND EVERY TIME.

 

This is what happens with Rev 4 and lower:

1. Cast spells on NPC and myself

2. Nothing happens, they just go on about their business like the spell refused to even activate or something

 

This is what happens with Rev 5

1. "lolol the spell fizzles out lol and fails lol" annoying message pops up.

 

I have tried a fresh save and it still didn't work, so I was wondering if it was my load order, but I don't see how these mods would affect it in any way:

Is there anything here that anyone knows causes instability with Sexlab or something?  I am literally at my wits end, wondering why I can't get this crap to work.

Also bear in mind, that Matchmaker works flawlessly for me at 1.14.

Same here, a lot of the SexLab addons I had quit working with 1.22, like Sexlab Squirt, and Submit has been dumping a lot of errors in my papyrus file.  I have a few of the same files you do, headtracking, Ysolda, Dance of Death.  I'm just thinking maybe I should just uninstall Sexlab for now.

I'm wondering why, though.  Other people have had Matchmaker work with 1.20 apparently, but for me, they straight up refuse to work.  I tested this with Sexlab chat as well, not sure if its compatible with 1.20 yet, but it wouldn't even trigger vanilla animations either...they just walked around and the animations didnt even start.

Yes, I made a brand new save, same thing happened.  The scripts just seemed to not activate or something.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet?

 

Do the mod developers actually visit the troubleshooting section to see the main problem of the current version? Because it appears that they are moving on in developing the mod beyond version 1.2, unaware that some of us can't even run higher versions of it because of a persisting bug, despite running clean installs.
