How do you copy / paste buildings without breaking their interior cells anywhere ?

I tried Clipboard to copy a Nipton house with a teleportable interior cell to Ivanpah area, but only the exterior was pasted there. The interior cell is gone and so i cannot enter the house. I want to repopulate Mojave wasteland by duplicating its existing infrastructure and pasting it all over the land.

Interior and exterior locations are two separate locations, you would need to copy the exterior location, preferably rename it to something else, then copy the interior cell that goes with it, rename that to match the new exterior, then link the new exterior to the new interior location.

But how do you enter inside an exterior that has no interior cell at all ?

You create your own, or copy and change an existing interior, then link the door to the new interior, or if you are doing something like the open series, your replace the existing building with a new one, and in effect remove the zoning from out side to inside, and build the interior of the building.
