You could edit the position in Nifskope by changing the translation values of the mesh inside the nif itself, but you'll have more control by doing it in Blender or Max. Keep in mind though that the item may still move in accordance to it's original location depending on how it's weighted to the body.
ibraccadabra Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 sorry for late rep i modified translation and it looks good in nifskope, but ingame bagpack position still the same..no change... it seems no matter value i put in translation won't change ingame position... too bad this must be done in blender since i can't use blender
Shaydow Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Did you apply the transformation after making the changes?
Bootaka Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Are you moving the Pack mesh, or the Skeleton node it is attaching too? Either one works, but moving the skeleton is easier IMO. If you move the pack's mesh, you need to right-click its NiTriShape and Transform+Apply, an Error "this might not work like you want" should pop up, ignore it and continue/repeat. If you're moving the Skeleton Node it is attaching itself to, then what I do is Right-click the node, Node/Attach Parent Node/NiNode. Now select that node and name it something easy, like Backpack Move. Now move the Node you created to move the Item's Node. Don't apply, there's no need to on a skeleton. And since you created the node you moved, to restoree the default position, 0 out X,Y,Z,R,P,Y and it never happened. I say working with the skeleton is easier, because when you Transform/Apply the mesh stays in the moved position, but al the values 0 out, leaving you to remember what you changed what to. Rather than the skeleton that doesn't require you to apply, so all values stay where there are, easier to backtrack.
